based on that cost/hr and the idea that a large number of the people that use bolts of the ascension and royal variety, rather than the ruby variety would lead to the conclusion that no, hardly any one would use that spell. sorry for the snark I am a little tired it is not intended. ~~~legoman187~~~

based on what the wiki says the only normal magic spell that uses blood runes is the bolt enchanting for ruby bolts. in terms of usefulness. not for most people no. however if the question is overall usefulness the ancient magics spell book is quite good and defiently something worth trying to get if you dont already have it. the spells are siginificantly more useful with their effects. blood runes can also be used to recharge a blood fury neckalce (or any of the other blood shard neckalces) I suspect you want to know if you want to get rid of your blood runes. if you have bank space dont get rid of them. if you need the bank space pick something else maybe. ~~~legoman187~~~

I dont know where you hang out, but I rarely see two people with the same gear showing. amongst people that can pay for it overrides are everything they wear what ever they want and have the armor or what ever to kill what they want. maybe all the people in bandos that you see are ones that really like the look of bandos as you like dragon and they are overriding their statistically better gear with the appearance of bandos. also no the short sword would be at best an oh look a larger dragon dagger better alch it and at worst something that is totally ignored id say move on, yes you like your dragon armor and your dragon weapons, you have been gifted better armor and have obtained better weapons. if new dragon items get released (as they will) they will drop by the way-side faster than you can shake a stick. also, what would happen if they were to update the graphics again to make dragon armor look compeltely different or as it did in 07(yeah retro packs i know). what would you do then? maybe branch out, if you are not willing to move on, and find something that also suits your fancy. ~~~legoman187~~~

you could also try magic notepaper, however that could get super expensive fast if you use it on low value herbs a combo of herbicide and notepaper may work well. ~~~legoman187~~~
