got a bunch of the new titles, except ravensworn lets get more thieving done woooo. also got spirit and elder tree fully grown EDIT: did some slayering, so far not much excitement, got second golden statue done though so yay. ~~~legoman187~~~

So i have done some research on the thieving at elves. I plan on doing more so i can get a larger sample size, but i think this a good first go. the full thing can be seen on mai blog if you really want to know. all tests were with exoskeleton and ardy cape unless otherwise specified. Also each test was 1 hour ( small sample size is not ok i know, it will be resoled soon) results of research: Test 1 (no ava, aura or lurker): 300k xp/hr Test 2 (ava @3% and aura): 280k xp/hr -- doesn't make sense Test 3 (Lurker for 40 minutes): 296k xp/hr Test 4 (no exoskeleton): 233k xp/hr Test 5 ( no ardy cape): 269k xp/hr based on this ardy cape and exoskeleton are a must. 5 finger discount, lurker seem to be insignificant or worse which seems counterintuitive, they deserve further testing i think. The voice of Seren does not seem to help as much as i had expected. for all but one of the tests i was in the voice for about 15 minutes of the hour. any way i shall enlarge the sample size. ~~~legoman187~~~

No ardy cape numbers started at 93,160,000 at 0:00 3 instances of voice stuck 4 times ended at 1:00 with 93,429,000 gained xp of 269k xp...hmm now that is interesting, based on this very small sample size no army cape and no eco skeleton would reduce xp by 1/3. that is significant! ~~~legoman187~~~

initial testing indicates that eco skeleton is good to have Low down on no exoskeleton run started at 92,907k with 20k bxp @ 0:00 had 3 voices stuck 3 times ended at 93,160k @1:01 grand total gained of 233k without bxp. so eco skeleton definitely helps significantly Science! next test is army cape off. ~~~legoman187~~~

yeah it seems to be about 4-6 minutes regardless of what you are doing (lurker aura and no aura all have about the same) data for lurker started at 92,602,000at 0:00 stuck twice 4 voice instances 40 minutes of lurker at 92,898,000 at 1:00 gained xp of 296k I need to redo some of these tests i think, these numbers are making absolutely no sense at all. lurker should have helped at least a bit, but i got less xp with 4 voices. i really want to test without the exoskeleton next ~~~legoman187~~~

ok one sec also jus thti 92.6m thiev xps so yay First run (aura + ava 3%) started at 91,940,000 at 0:00 with 10k bxp every four to six minutes i would have to switch to the next clan multiple instances of being stuck waiting for the next clang o forgive me 2 instances of thieving with the voice active end at 92,241,000 1:01 Gained xp of about 280k (not including the bxp) Second run (no aura + no ava) started at 92,242,000 at 0:00 every 4-6 minutes i would have to switch to the next clan 3 instances of waiting for the clan to forgive 3 instances of voice being active ends at 92,542,000 at 1:00 Gained xp of almost exactly 300k with no bxp. It seems the voice has more power than the avatar bonus, which is not surprising. and so five finger discount seems to absolutely bubpkis. I expect lurker would be pretty decent, but that is something to test i guess. more to test i guess. Things to test: ava at 6% lurker no exo skeleton any thing else? Getting stuck is annoying as funk. if there was a way to prevent that would be great. i expect that when the second batch of priff opens up it will be much much easier, won't have to do any waiting, just run to the next section. maybe they will decide that the auras that are designed for pick pocketing should work. also not going to track drops except for maybe noted items (didn't for the first two at all) unless it is desired. ~~~legoman187~~~

I think i must be doing something wrong with the thieving, once i get caught once it seems like the other two come in 2 or 3 picks. what am i doing wrong? can be moved to h&a if it doesn't gegt answered here ~~~legoman187~~~

ok so after doing some more elf thieving i can see it being much better once batch 2 is out as right now there can be a bit of lag time between being able to thief again. once batch 2 is out it should be almost impossible to do that. i want to test now to see if five finger discount helps at all. if i get in the mode i may write a guide on it, but i would not count on it as i doubt ill be thieving by the time of batch two. ~~~legoman187~~~

quick hopping does nothing as far as i can tell. if it worked then i could see 500k, but without it i seriously doubt it. atm i can see 300k xp.hr fairly easily. would like to see if five finger discount works. according to wiki it was patched quickly. ~~~legoman187~~~

ok so here is the current plan, it is subject to change: work towards 120 thief, clues will be on at my leisure and are not a requirement, the hard clue loot goal is going to be on hold for a short while do some slayer while working towards comp reqs from elf city do some bossing to get last comp reqs sounds like it will work .-. ~~~legoman187~~~

i haven't really been doing much other than gold statue rock hunting past 2 days, it is kinda rough and i doubt ill finish it in any reasonable amount of time I'm taking this time to take a break from thief so i don't get burnt out so badly. ~~~legoman187~~~

I am skeptical that thieving will reach 400k/hr there. but my small test was inconclusive for me to determine its validity. however i am willing to accept elves because they drop clues. I suspect traders will still be better (xp/h) for a while because of the cheeky monkey and not having to move, as well as the whole not being able to thief thing, but we shall see. if three is evidence that five finger discount and the cheeky monkey work at elves i could see it being very good indeed. ~~~legoman187~~~
