  1. Yeah i still don't understand prestige either, it's a way to maximise your xp but i just don't know when i should reset it
  2. yeah good overview, i currently have a t10 rapier bound and it does quite well but a crush weapon is useful against warriors in full plate. maul is slow but probably best crush, wouldn't really reccomend it though i found battleaxe good against bosses
  3. is it the obelisk thing with four colours streaming across the floor into the center? if so the objective is for the colours to reach the obelisk at the same time, so you stand on the pads one by one to stagger them so they enter at the same time. start with one colour, get it going at the second rate of another etc.
  4. knew it would only be a matter of time until that happened lol
  5. one thing i don't like, is that when soloing at least you can just do the whole level in melee, the bosses are so easy that you don't need to mage/range to get by. this makes the skill very dependable on having good smithing/mining, which is fine for me but for others like yourself not so good I see it in a possitive way ... D (I don't like Dung skill =/) was a good reason to level my smithing a bit ... I would have to do it sooner or later. yes i suppose it also fills in level gaps for a lot of skills and gives people something else to train for instead of just getting stats to make your skill page look good. I hope this isn't the smithing rework jagex were talking about lol

  7. spear will have better stab, longsword is best slash out of all weapon types i think. with spear you also lose shield slot of course, so it's a trade-off. i still think it's probably the best melee weapon to be carrying around
  8. yeah they have reused some models, but like others have said it does look really nice anyway for the benefit of people lower level/can't train, i'll post some screenies [hide] enemy knight in full T10 (promethium) armour (that's good for anyone wondering.) he was really hard to kill but i got a t10 rapier from it (y) sort-of boss fight where that guy heals you (it's actually an npc version of one of the familiars) he says some funny stuff. [/hide] I'm level 32 now, it's pretty fun, maybe a bit slow some tips - -if you're making a team with friends, people with high mining/smithing are very useful. let them collect money and mine rocks so they can give everyone armour. -if you're not hitting on a monster, try different attack styles such as slash, crush etc. -I highly recommend that you bind a good weapon to you, even get a friend to smith you something good -spears are very versatile weapons as they can use all three attack styles (stab/crush/slash) -don't run off! stay with your party -take it slowly when opening doors or you could end up in a boss room without being properly prepared hope some of that helps and yeah a lot of people are criticizing this skill, and people say it is a minigame to runescape, but instead of whining about it go and post suggestions to improve it or something. Like with summoning, after release jagex looked at how they could improve it and i'm sure they will do the same here. it's only day two, what they have here is a good concept and a good base, now all they need to do is expand it and fix the issues that people have.
  9. bugged out statue puzzle, we couldn't complete it but luckily it wasn't for a crucial room
  10. calling it a night here solo for lyf! don't really know if solo or team is faster though
  11. how many tokens do you have? just wondering how much more you get by then
  12. yes, i enjoy it but it doesn't have any application in the rest of the game, which is hopefully something jagex will work on.
  13. i think you leave at the beginning of a round or something
  14. yes, it is like giant SC, but to be honest who cares, it's fun, enjoy it
  15. What people also need to bear in mind is that this is the first day of the skill, like previous skills i'm sure there are plenty of updates to come to improve it, such as solo play or even NPC teammates. and wow, true skill mastery is 104m xp :wall: stand in front of his food
  16. like i said earlier dungeon raiding was invented before WoW and has been done well by way better games. i think this has been done well by jagex
  17. does anyone know how to leave without losing xp lol
  18. you do have to work in groups, and it's fun that way anyway
  19. we all smithed awesome melee gear to find the boss barrages! lol this is fun
  20. I do agree with them, and it stenches of WoW, but I'm excited and happy about it and want to try it. Disappointed as the stuff like Primal armour is only dungeoneering thing so pissed at that, looks like the only thing I want is the Chaotic shield, however 2m a time = no thanks...... So...... DFS + Torags = still better :( DISAPPOINTED if that's the case WoW was not the first game to do dungeon clearing, in fact it is one of many. i think this is well suited for runescape actually
  21. i don't know, dunno what any of it is lol
  22. if you don't have it, someone else on your team might
  23. it appears you get less supplies each level, therefore you have to skill to survive
