Actually, if this guy went to work for 8 hours every day, and kept RS running while he worked his 10pm-6am graveyard shift entering data on a spreadsheet program, he could easily get that much "playtime" over many years. Then, I mean, if he got home from work and actually played for 2-3 hours, that'd add up pretty quickly. But since this account got banned for cheating, I think its safe to say it was also a shared account or a gold farmer. Yeah that's what i thought, it's obviously perfectly possible to have 1000+ days legit but the fact he got banned for bug abuse tends to suggest there is very little legitimate about the account. could be traded too

I think Chile is a lot more prepared than Haiti was. Earthquake proofed buildings, etc. Also, smaller population density, offshore epicenter, and the fact that it was 3am on a saturday and not something like 12noon on a weekday should hopefully mean that the death toll stays low in comparison to Haiti.

I dislike it - they should have let people know closer to the date for less disruption to the GE and players that just want to continue normally.

You could be onto something here, I remember when Jagex were releasing POH, they said we'd all have POS (Player Owned Shops), I think it's still in their news archive as well. I think they said at some point that POS eventually became the exchange. pos+the already existing ge would be pointless
