The update was planned for this week, but due to difficulties with the game engine it is postponed to next week. They said something didn't work on HD in vista; major graphics update coming; -->> fairy tale 3? probably vista just sucking

it went when i died, i spawned another and ran back and there were two piles, my grave and what the first tbird dropped - which is wierd seeing as about four minutes had passed, i didn't know grave protects bob items.

why you shouldn't get cocky while rune mining:

superheating steel is about 30gp loss/bar which is still pretty decent. the only way to profit from superheating is rune...yeah. if you want to profit with magic i'd suggest doing something like fog and selling the reward items, but that's probably slow xp. otherwise, bolt greater demons for rune full drops or something. profiting with smithing, you'll have to gain patience for smelting as it's probably the only way. steel bars give you about 200gp profit/bar, but not very much xp. melee, ankous are good, probably a bit crowded though cooking, you lose less cooking swordfish over lobsters, but still a loss. pizzas are probably the best idea if you want to profit, but i don't know the figures. i hope some of that helps. my f2p knowledge is not brilliant. your best bet is to make money from certain profitable skills and spend that money on the more expensive ones.

yeah jas is like an elder god or something that created the stone, way before guthix. there's ties with the dragonkin and probably frensakae (or however it's spelled.) but i reckon jas is a dead god and that is why the dragonkin appear to be rogue. [runewiki] [/hide] I edited my post my theory is that it's the Oracle personally :P that'd be awesome though a return of Jas too. yeah he's obviously a powerful figure having created the stone and enslaved the dragonkin, but as i said if he's still around he's either in hiding (yeah maybe a character like the oracle) or departed from gielnor. would definately be nice to see him again, any quest related to him would probably involve rounding up the dragonkin and stuff so yeah. Maybe Jas can only unlock the true power of the Stone of Jas and currently it's only working at a very low percent :P this is hilarious because JAS is an acronym for java application server which is basically what the game runs on (probably not a naming coincidence there) and for players to use the upgraded stone (stats above 255) would require an upgrade to the JAS - because the maximum usable value is currently 255 (or was, but i think they've got past it now with rt5 - see the corp, nomad's hp) funny!

indeed! a couple of things though - who or what is insight venture? I'm presuming you know, me also, I was checking traffic yesterday just wondering how things were going I'm sure it can't mean much if they are still raking in the cash but maybe it means there are less new players coming onboard?

they have just about zero use - many people keep them though, i remember seeing banks before guilded altars and all that where people had collected ~100k ectotokens from prayer training. congratulations on the level

My logitech mouse is an older model, and on setpoint the program specific settings were unavailable - so for anyone with similar problems, http://uberoptions.net/ the program from this site basically gives you an unlocked version of setpoint that lets you assign just about anything to anything. thanks for the tips sseli, this is going to be awesome for TD's :D

yeah I have setpoint, but the problem is i use most of my mouse keys as volume control and forward/back, there's no way to program the buttons as specific keys for specific windows. like this [/hide] I'll post a screenshot on how to change it for RS specifically when I come back from class. I didnt do anything special - just look around in setpoint. I'm downloading a newer version to see if that makes a difference, but thanks aswell the Internet on my laptop just died so i prob cant post any pics... <-- also never buy an HP computer... within the past two days my lcd and internet have both failed... only gets choppy if you have a bad computer. so that's up to the user to decide, shouldn't be general advice.

makes me wonder why the whip is still top dog after all this time

coincidentally, slayer was released five years ago today - so i suppose it's possible an update today could reflect that. unlikely though, but happy birthday slayer :thumbup: :thumbup:
