So I'm the only one who using prayer against Aberrant Specters? Pro's of prayer Reduced PvP damage No damage from most monsters Con's of Prayer Very Expensive to train Costs money to use (even if your not using prayer potions you still have to use a alter which normally costs laws to get to) Prayer Armour is generally low defence. Some monsters can damage through it. Can not be trained as well using pest control. As you can see its not all good. I don't pray on Abberants and I've never been "owned". And Notes are made from cotton which grows out of the ground not paper. Envirmentalists would be all over the governments wagon if it was. english money is made from cotton but us money is still made from paper. sorry

If you did 1k pc points at 100 combat you would made 1m... even pcing 126 combat you would make kind of alot of money pc doesn't make money -.- Well it dont make money but if you damage more than 50 you get around 1.3k ? so each win gives 1.3k 100 wins = 130k 1000 wins = 1.3m... so kind of money giving ... oh right, forgot about that -.-

this is democracy with a very biased population, it doesn't count here. runescape players usually center their activities around one area, believe it or not, so they grow an affination to the area. if they spent a lot of time being non member before member, they're probably gonna vote for non member cities. EDIT: is anyone else going to respond to this?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?

IT allows rich pures to have a distinct advantage over anyone who has lower prayer, but higher combat. the players with higher combat should still be able to do the things the pures with high prayer can, because they worked harder, but they can't.

#-o shoulda thought of that... but yeah, this was a good idea, most polls, like the lone ranger one, will or did come out to nothing, i think more people will vote on the guarenteed content ones, simply becaus eiit's guarenteed to put opinions into the game. p.s i think the ardy area would be cool but it's losing right now... my vote counted for nothing :(

well, you would need members to have access to these updates anyway, so i don't think it's a reason to sign up.

this isn't about guthans, that decays after a while anyway, and it's very expensive to repair, and don't say you can just use a workshop in your house because it takes money to get your construction up that high as well. it sounds to me like you can't think of an arguement so you're changing the topic, and you guys are contradicting yourselves while defending prayer.

My guess is that you died the Elvarg or something and yougot angry when you saw someone else go in using orayer and kill him with ease. first off, i beat elvarg first try. second, prayer doesn't proect from his flame attack now does it? sure, i doesn't take too long to level if you have a couple mil to spend on it. prayer is the way to buy into combat, without it, member pures would be obsolete, because they can't use prayer in place of their low defense. not many people have the what 60 constructioon to get a gilded alter, too damn expensive, same with buying d bones. you can call me a noob for saying that you can buy your way into combat, sure, but it won't be true. say there's a level 3 skiller. hes rich, most skillers are. he wants to get into combat, but is too afraid to train on stronger monsters that will level him faster. so what can he do? buy a high prayer level, use protection prayers, and voila, free combat exp almost. and don't give me that bs about having to use p pots all the time, if you weren't so impatient or if you were using prayer at a low level, then u could just pray to get it back. i don't have a problem with stat boosting prayers, nor with the smite, retribution, and redemption prayers. save item was a good idea, but the 2x recover prayers are a little lame. protection prayers are the ones that make the game easier for you stuck up rich people.

what i'm trying to say is that prayer makes it impossible to be hit if you're fiughting a 1, count them chocobodude, 1 fighting style monster. prayer makes you invincible to these monsters while you are fighting, and make it possible to avoid taking damage, enabling a lower leveled player to beat a monster they couldn't with food. this also gives lower leveled pures an advantage in pvp, while not making them invincible, giving them the upper hand against stronger, but lower prayer players. in essence, this is buying your way into combat as well.

In your first post, you never said which monsters we're talking about specifically, then you later said we're excluding boss monsters. Quit trying to bend the topic of this thread to make my posts irrelevant. And what on earth did trimmed/god armor have to do with any of that? I don't even think i have to explain on why that was irrelevant. i did say with te exception of KQ, KBD etc... that does mean boss monsters, and i said it 2 more times in new posts. you complained that p pots were too expensive, sell your rares and trimmed armor and u'll find that they're not so expensive anymore.

that brings up a question, can you get banned from game using forums? or vice versa?

once again, not talking about boss monsters, take slayer tasks for example, the few monsters that break through your prayer are dragons, and even they can be protected against using anti dragon shield and anti dragon breath pots+ protect against melee
