*sigh* this wasn't aimed at 200+ monsters who can hit through prayer and this is open for discussion, not really a rant...

i'm usually only a fan of new weapons/ skill upgrades but this was a pretty good month. kudos jagex! :thumbsup:

this is one of the huge things i don't like about runescape, besides the fact it takes so long to get 99's(plz don't respond to thAT), is that u can have 43 or more prayer,prayer pots, and b able to beat any monster in the game, with the exception of KBD KQ and dream mentor monsters. at these high level prayers, you can just take p pots to any monster besides these and not need food, besides dragons as well. doesn't this seem unfair, you can be invincible just because you buried some bones? granted prayer is hard to get up, but you can also buy your way into it. do you like being invincible because of prayer, or do you think it's a fatal flaw of the game(or just a flaw)? please don't flame me for ranting, i thought this would b the right place

again if you're talking about training a skill to 99 then moving on I don't think you will have hardly any profit by the time you are done. again, she's talking about only spending money when spending money when u can't obtain the materials for no cost, only hunter and con require that, and con u can spend 100 odd thousand then use limestone the rest of the way. hunter; you can buy 5 traps for birds and train those the rest of the way, so u spend about 100gp. sure it's slow, but that's what she's talking about.

this is called the law of averages. the less u have, the more likely your results will pull towards 1 object, but in the long run, your results even out. still, half keys are rare enough to defy the law of averages... im not gonna explain how, too lazy and i think im gettinmg carpal tunnel

that's y i hate quests, if they had some sort of storyline, i'd do them, but they don't. it's just tower of life, no background, just a random quest pulled out of the hat.

Maybe if Jagex would say..."work" with the community everything would be a little better. For some reason they only do what they want, and make sure everything goes there way. That is apparent from a couple of different issues that have arisen on these forums and the simple fact that they do not even recognize public forums. Quite the opposite actually, they have introduced the KB (which is an excellent guide, gotta give them that) which seperated them almost completely from the outside forums/sites. My personal opinion is that they should definatly hire a PR because they have the worst community relations out of any game I've ever seen. It wouldn't be hard for some PR's to come onto a forum every now and then and just reply here or there, or even just read what the people think. This happens on alot of the Guild Wars forums I am a part of. Hell with GW, Arenanet (company that created GW) has links to the forums they think will help the community on the main site. They have a couple of PR's that come onto forums and help explain some issues that might be going around and try to make things a little clearer. At the moment we have a company who is stuck in it's own little world and will not let the community in. Having said all this, I actually loved the update, there was nothing wrong with it. This was a response about Jagex in general though. hey, y don't u do jagex's job for them? ask 9 million players their opinions on hopw to update the game. seriiously man, that's like asking every1 in london or NYC wether they want to revamp the city, and ask for suggestions. not possible. by the time u get ur answers, they'll b so jumbled that u'll have a max of 20 votes for one option. that's y jagex can't take ur opinion on how to update all of the game, only some parts. btw, nice light bulb joke :XD:
