God, Bungie better have the best game comeing out then. I even have to choose between Halo Wars or Halo 3: Recon. Maybe I have to save my money closer to that day.

Not even funny. There is NEVER going to be another Halo game by Bungie. But, they didn't say there wouldn't be anymore games in the Halo universe. And Expansion isn't another Halo game, its just based in the Halo Universe. Anyways, for all those that doubted me, Go look what I said a couple paes back. Basically I said: It is a new gamae, and it is NOT an Expansion pack adding on to the Halo 3 campaign. It is based on an ODST in New Mombassa after the events on Halo 2 in this very city.

I would imagine that there would be on each race's home world, but without the profit of truth there is no one to lead them. Well, yes and no. Yes, that the Covanent wern't all on the Ark or within the radius of the ring when it fired, and no, because there are stull many many other prophets, but some aren't as known or as evil as the three High Prophets as they were called. The only "evil" prophet was the Prophet of Truth. He knew all along that he had nothing to do with the Halo rings, but that it was the humans that did. Instead, he created the lie that is the Great Journey, and deceived the other Prophets and Covenent. And the Covenent, moreover the Brutes, probably would have all been guarding the Prophet while he attempted to activate the Halos. What I actually would have found funny is if the Prophet succeeded. He would not have experienced anything, since the Ark is outside of the Halos' firing radii. He would just be standing there, wondering why nothing happened. Also, I liked the ending, the only thing I would have liked more is if it were harder. Even on Legendary it's just too easy. The problem with the Flood is that they're too easily taken care of in a vehicle. Also, the driving is way too easy. I want some pinholes to thread, maybe some jumps that really require some good aim. This thing was basically hit and miss. Either you easily got through, or a panel exploded when you're a foot in front of it. Or, even worse, a bad roll that puts your warthog sideways onto one of the catwalks. Those are just a [bleep]. You know, I never beat the game in a warthog. I knew about the ghosts, and grabbed one and drove like a son of a gun.

The Prophets as a species were either dwindling or just very low, I forget. And I think High Charity may have become their homeworld since they took a piece of theirs when they lifted the Forerunner Dreadnought off of their real world. So unless they were evac'd when the Civil War began, they may have been wiped out after the Flood took High Charity. But that last part is speculation on my part, the rest is described in Contact Harvest. Well, I guess I have to go get Contact Harvest.

Yeah .. I'm buying collectors just for the gold lancer. So am I, also the extra stuff is nice too, but predominantly it's about the gold lancer :D. And day one dlc .. FTW .. God, special stuff is awsome ;)

The warthog race at the end was a rip-off of Halo 1's ending, except not epic :lol: I thought they would finish the series with a good ending with good closure, not leave it open to another sequel... I dunno, I kinda thought the Warthog thing was a nice throwback to #1. And it wasn't set up for a sequel; it was set up for Marathon. Who said that?

I totally want to get this game when it comes out. And, I should totally get the Gold Lancer.

Who said he was talking about steam... theres the Orange box on Consoles you know. He posted on the steam thread so I think it's fair to say he has the PC version But he told me that he has the Orange Box on his 360...

Unfortunately, Halo: Combat Evolved was created for Mac, but then Microsoft bought Bungie, they chaged it to work with Xbox.
