There was little if any cheating by tip.it and some of those were backstabbers. The losers need to grow up and take the loss, because they were clearly outnumbered. There was no chance the others could win with our sheer numbers. It was total domination in all ways. Deal with it. Sore losers from the other sites: Keep your crybaby whining on your own boards. Or meet me in wildy . . .

It wasn't horrible! We totally dominated all others! What was funny was the group that showed up in full rune . . . and still they got owned due to our massive numbers. I apologize for attacking a leader accidentally - I was looking at white dots mostly. It was hard to see any white dots as there were so few of them. What a total domination. The other sites must hang their heads in utter shame and embarassment!

Whoa! I just realized that the event will start on Saturday afternoon at 1:00pm for me, not 1:00am Sunday morning! My brain must not have been functioning properly when I checked earlier this week. :shock:

With peeps already showing up 20 hours away from event start, I am wondering if I will even be able to log on 2 hours before. As far as escorts from lumby go, it might be a bit tough, since there are not multi-combat zones all the way from lumby to edgeville. I would strongly recommend logging in to a PvP, as suggested, and get the forced lumby start out of the way. Then get inside edgeville bank in a regular world. Please note, I will continue trying to log in the event someone dies and logs out. If I don't make it, good luck tip.it!!

I might take you up on your offer if I can build up my level to an amount I like (I'm looking for either thiry-five or thirty-six combat at the moment). Calypsan, just stand in a corner surrounded by Tip.it'ers and trade me food here and there . . . Or I can trade you 3k (max F2P trade, I think) every 15 min while we wait, then you can buy a rune scimmy from me without leaving the safe confines of Edge bank . . . I have a few rune scims (and ancient staves) - been killing lvl 103 mummies. :)

I think there is some confusion here. I thought it was being moved from clan wars to a yet-to-be determined multi-combat area of the wildy on a PvP world. Is this correct? By the way, I can carry rune chest and legs with me in the event someone cheats. If I see a cheater in rune armor, I will put on the rune I carry and own them. Not worried about inventory space as there should be plenty of food on the ground . . . :thumbsup:

Critical issue addressed above: If we meet in Edgeville in a PvP world, it could get a bit crazy. I am not sure if the Edgeville bank is a safe zone. I know several other banks are safe zones. If the Edge bank is safe, it's going to be funny with hundreds of peeps crammed into that tight space. The GE might be a good place to meet since it has such a huge area compared to all other safe spots on PvP worlds. But, since you can't use the hole to crawl under the wall in a F2P world, that raises another logisitics issue. I suggest the issues be discussed quickly and the initial post on this thread updated to reflect the recent changes. Likely, I will be there. Wife will not be happy with me getting on at midnight, but oh well!

I will try the route headed northest of God Wars entrance - I had trouble finding the rocks to climb, but finally found it this time. And, yes, I am 92 fm and plan to bring a super restore pot (or two). Thanks for the help!!

Sounds like fun, but the only drawback for me is that this will occur at 1:00am. I will try to make it, as tip.it is my preferred RS site by far, but no guarantees. If I make it there, I look foward to slicing my way out of any pile attempts by the noobs on the other teams . . . :thumbsup:

I appreciate the help - I had looked at the beacon map and minigame guide, but there is not enough detail about exactly where to walk to get to the God Wars beacon. I found al the rest of them easily, but I have walked around the God Wars area and can't seem to get to where that beacon is. Anyone else? Thanks!!

I must be missing something, but I can't seem to find the way to the beacon (beacon network mingame) that is east of god wars. I walked all over the god wars area and don't seem to be able to find any way to get to the beacon. Could someone give me a general description of how to get to the beacon, using the god wars entrance as the starting point? LOL! I feel like such a noob asking this, but I'm tired of walking all over the god wars area repeatedly (have done it twice already).

If you have 99 range, go with the black knives. You will wear it out! And you will likely out hit any meleers!

Black knives work. I have used them as well. Not a great range bonus, though, since you have to wear black armor. I maximized the range bonus by using black chainbody, black med helm, and black sq shield. I also wore ranger boots, barrows gloves, ammy of fury, and archer's ring.

I doubt you can use a cannon here, due to the "all black" weapon and armor requirements. But this is simply a guess - I'm not 100% sure.

britonlongbow, do you know if that person in your image wearing a ring of wealth? Looks like he/she got the holy elixir drop pretty quickly, since there are very few items in inventory . . .

Yes, it is very hard to find empty world! Getting worse each day. By the way, has anyone tried ring of wealth versus no ring of wealth? I used wealth for about an hour and 15 minutes and didn't notice a difference overall in drops. But it seems like more time would be needed to really see a difference - maybe using wealth for 3-4 hours?

I did it solo. It wasn't that hard. I used a black scimmy, because I prefer speed. I brought super attack and super str pots, as well as prayer pots. If you can master intermittent prayer (on and off at the right time), you can last a long time. I only used 2 prayer pots in that 1 hour and 50 minutes of killing solo. Stand by the wall so you can activate protection from melee prayer right after it appears without getting hit by it. Warning, you should use prayer because it hits easily - you are wearing black armor after all. I have 99 defense and it still hit me regularly before I used prayer.

It seems that power gamers would be very likely to prefer the G.E. to the old-fashioned, time consuming way. I would bet the roleplaying type of player would prefer the old system, without the G.E. I kinda like both, but I did most of my playing before the G.E.
