Dungeoneering: Beyond the Release
I have to agree with Alex and Queltar. I wont restate what they've said (kind of), but I have to say that even though you don't NEED more than a promethium spear and plate to get through a dungeon, it'd be really nice if we did have more options. It's way too one-dimensional as it is. I want to have an internal struggle every time I see a tier 11 boss drop, and I don't like that melee is -- as it is everywhere -- the most useful skill in Daemonheim. Variety is a good thing.

25-May-2010 - The Elemental Workshop III
Aye, now I'd like to see new emotes for Hp, Slayer, and perhaps Herblore and we're good with skillcapes for a while. The Constitution emote was changed. I'm not sure if I like it. Haven't seen the particle-fied Slayer emote yet, but the Herblore emote looks really cool now.

chaotic weapons and shields
CLS and CR would inflict halved damage on Corp. ZS is better. The shields are good, but situational. However, they are not as good as Elysian or Divine spirit shields. Chaotic weapons are better than whips and godswords. Of course they're better at GWD. I can't answer your other questions.

Elemental Workshop IV and the Soul Altar
It could also be both  Soul altar could be the ritual site, and it sure is a fitting reward for the end of such a quest chain. I'm thinking the ritual site, too, and possibly new ancient magic spells that heavily utilize soul runes. The soul rune situation is very odd, because there are at least three questlines that could culminate in us being rewarded with the soul altar. The EW line seems to be the most "logical" considering that the next room is pretty much guaranteed to be the soul room, but I'm still thinking that the ritual stone in the Mahjarrat quests is a better candidate.

The new homepage
I don't even know what to say. Also, it might just be my computer or browser, but the faces of the mage and warrior are distorted.

Is RuneScape's technology obsolete?
This paragraph is so untrue that I've lost several braincells just trying to comprehend its stupidity. Runescape is what you make of it. Some people like to do things that are just point and click tasks, and some people like to do things that require actual skill. That's the beauty of Runescape -- you play it how you want to.

I seriously hate the color of the profound armor set. It's like a weird peachish skin tone.

Yup, this is how it works.

Castle Wars Improvements - Faithful Shield
I would disagree. I think its this widespread attitude that poisons the once light-hearted enjoyment that most people had with this game. Now things are such serious business. And updates are either "efficient" or not. Its a freakin game...You can take it competitively if you want. But you need to understand that this is just YOUR way of playing the game, and it is rediculous to diss this kind of an update just because using these are "less efficient" or something. The halos are cool, and fun. I like the update. For people who just dont want to buy as many prayer pots will love these. People who do nothing but formulate numbers for this freakin videogame will rage and never use them. But I dont think anyone should call them useless...I think theyre great. Personally, I like playing Runescape competitively. I think that being competitive and efficient is fun. I know what you mean though -- I absolutely love BA even though playing it offers me no real ingame advantage. Even though none of these items stand out as being particularly groundbreaking, I like that they might have some use to some players. You're right -- there are players who would rather save on prayer potions and will find the shield and halos very enticing. It kind of reminds me of the Penance armor set effect. It has niche uses, but isn't something that you use all the time for its effect.

Castle Wars Improvements - Faithful Shield
Some people will certainly get the halos because they find CW to be fun, but people generally analyze new items so that they can decide whether or not spending the time getting the halos will give them an edge over other players. Runescape is, after all, a competitive game. A good example of this is the rings from MA. No one likes MA (if they say they do, they're lying), but players play because the rings are worth the pain to some people.

Lol, I train summoning. (and smithing)

Chaotic staff
It's only useful for PVP (safe or otherwise). It's kinda nice that they didn't devalue the SoL's use as a training weapon.

Castle Wars Improvements - Faithful Shield
Would it be worth replacing the slayer helm for tasks requiring prayer? No, definitely not.

Castle Wars Improvements - Faithful Shield
I wish the shield didn't have negative attack bonuses for mage and ranged. This whole update is geared towards melee, it would seem. I guess it's sort of understandable as mages dominate CW, but it'd still be nice if it weren't so biased.

I still hate this quest. I'm not doing it. My quest cape isn't worth it.

Do you pray mystic might or something (pointing to soul wars cape). I actually made a mistake there when I grabbed my SW cape. I would normally use an Ardougne cape 3 on abyssal demons. My laptop doesn't allow me to flash prayers very well, so I just turn soul split on when I need to heal. That little bit of prayer bonus helps. I also don't need the+4 magic attack that I'd get from a god cape, 'cause I hit almost every time anyway. Also, I don't use leech mage or mystic might. Seems like a waste of prayer potions for an accuracy boost that I don't need (mith dragons are an exception).

They just had to give the shield negative magic and ranged attack, too. <_< Would've been a great shield to slay with when I need to tank.

27-May-10 Castle wars improvements
Looks like the hiscores have been there all along at Jagex HQ, 'cause the number one Castle Wars player has over 6k games played. That means that only ONE player can purchase the professional cape. I think that's pretty cool. EDIT: Nevermind, the hiscores seem to update every few seconds and there's already a few players with 4k games showing up.
