Yeah no problem, I couldn't put any weight on mine for about 2 months like yours, which was pretty annoying :-# But if your going to need crutches for 2 months or less, i say just stick it out and use them instead of a wheelchair. I definately got a decent arm workout everytime i used them, and i wouldn't really wanna know what I'd look like if I used a wheelchair the whole time, because I would have gotten almost 0 excersize during the day... but longer than 2 months would just be unbareble on crutches or maybe you could use crutches some days and wheelchair others, it's up to you, hope that helps ;)

wow when i saw the this topic's title at first i thought it must have been something i wrote without remembering it... I broke my ankle on december 26th 2008. Actually, i broke a bone in my ankle and a bone in my foot. Over 2 months later, I am not even nearly fully healed. I am still in a boot, and i've only been able to walk on it (with the boot on) for about 2 weeks. Lets just say...the past 2 months have possibly been the WORST experience I've ever had. I'm a senior in high school so lets just say that this break F'd me up...Crutches are terrible...they are the most akward things ever, get in the way of everything, and by the time your done with them you feel almost bound to them (I would look for them unconsiously even when I was off crutches and able to walk on my boot). So the side affects of this is that i easily get raged and pissed and angry (the feeling where you wanna punch through a wall as hard as you [bleep]ing can?), I get way too much energy but can never use it (all I can do is lift upper body, but i cant do that everyday, and i can't do any types of cardio workouts...Which SUCKS cuz i used to be a very active person.)... Lets see, some other side effects are my left calf and leg muscles have completely shriveled up, so I can't wait to see how much less i'm squating when I can finally use my leg -.- ...My 6 pack has gone away for the most part, it's 10x harder to get with girls as it used to be...ummm thats pretty much it, I can't think of a single good side effect :| So as for tips i have a few. Practice going up and down stairs cuz it's easy to fall on them. get used to hopping around on one foot when your too lazy to grab the crutches :| . Buy something to cover the crutch handles with, because they can give some gnarly armpit rashes... Try to shower in a shower that has a bench of some sort, or take baths (idk if you have a cast or a boot though). The only excersise you can really get is upper body stuff, so try to do that every few days... Get a handy cap parking pass. Umm that's all i can think of right now i'm pretty tired.. Oh, and the best part, arthritis for life  (at least for me -.- ) Hope that helps EDIT: oh and buy some vicodin because the first 2 weeks is the time period where your bones re-glue themsleves together, and it got VERY painful for me, so prepare in advance.
  24. hehe k I probably won't use them for a long whileeee though, smithing is one of my goals but right now my primary ones are getting farming/slayer/summoning/herblore/wcing/mining up, but i'll get to em eventually :P and dang 565k is A LOT more than i got from my ranged brawlers, i'm excited 8-) The brawlers are number of item based so it was around 1.1k bars used into plates so if you do mith it'd be less but still alot. With SC hammers of course. I totally forgot about SC hammers  thanks for the tip

Honestly I used to think I knew the different types of metal but this forum has gotten me more confused than ever about types of metal, but anyways I'm pretty into metalcore, progressive metal, thrash metal, etc. Some metal-(insert type here) bands I like (In NO particular type of metal order): A day to remember Alexisonfire Metallica Underoath In fear and faith The sleeping Rage against the machine Coheed and Cambria (no [bleep]ing clue what type they are) Opeth Killswitch engage Incubus Haste the day Guns N Roses Blessthefall Escape the fate The Chariot Bullet for my Valentine August Burns red Between the buried and me norma jean atreyu Wu tang clan  well theres a few of my many bands i listen to anyways, if anyone wants to attempt to decipher what types of metal each band is, by all means go for it #-o Time for a reggae thread please :D
