So I enrolled in a conducting class in the music department. Since I am only a Junior, I figured I was only going to learn how to conduct of course, but my band director dropped a bomb shell on me. I am actually going to be conducting a piece in the spring concert this year!!!@! It sound simple, but I have always wanted this chance, and I am finally getting it. The piece in question is Vincent Persichetti's Chorale Prelude: So pure the star. So [bleep]ing happy over this chance, I can't really put into words. We are also playing Holst's First Suite in E♭. SO HAPPY!! *fistpump*

Started reading The Girl with the Dragon tattoo. I have never been a big reader at all, but I deiced I should change this. I bought a kindle fire with my chech change money from college and that was the first book I bought. I have yo say both were good decisions. The book it's self was a little difficult at first, but now I am starting to get into it. Can't wait to start reading the next one.

Anything that can get you a job as a teacher. The pay may not be great, the kids might suck, but you're pretty much guaranteed a decent living and summers off. True. I can say being a teacher is great....unless you are a music or art teacher. Seeing as schools are slowly getting rid of music and the arts, it's going to be balls hard for me to get a job. That is why I am getting my doctorate in muisc conducting. This should allow me to become a college level band director, or director of bands.

So...yesterday I was sitting on my computer and got a text from a friend that said. "Hey do you know anything about a bomb threat at Wal-mart?" I thought it was a joke and just replied lol. A few seconds later, three other people text me about it. They were worried because I work there, so shit got serious. Turns out, a man called to the police that he was going to bomb walmart. The building was evacuated and a bomb squad team was brought in. After two hours of searching the building both inside and out they found nothing. However in town a man was pulled over fro a DUI. His car was searched and a grenade was found in his car. Avoided it, but still had to come in work right after it happened.

Been on a petty good run on here as of late. Level 40 now, should be able to get level 41 today. Unlocked the PP-19 and P-90. New favorite guns <3: Stats.
