What solution do you propose then? I'd like to think Lightning modded us (though some may think that other mods aren't deserving) because she trusts that we can take care of the chat. We're actually trying to remedy this problem but people just keep complaing even if they still haven't tried it. I know for a fact that one mod yelled at another for being too strict (and whatever else he did) and now the chat mod's lightened up (according to channel regulars, he has indeed been nicer). Now we all know only Lightning can change mod status but until she's back, we mods can still do something else :-w That may be true, but it will take months too add one person to her ignore list to ban them for good. If a chat moderator is abusive (in the future as Ihaven't seen a major power abusing session yet), nothing can really be done. Here's an example. What if all of the Tip.it staff were extremely inactive? What would happen to Tip.it? It would seriously decline. I'm not criticizing Lightning, but she has quit. It's like trying to wait for The Old Nite to log back in again.. I suggest if you have evidence of anything that needs to be demodded/added to ignore you message Silverlion who can get in contact with lightning and maybe she can get on for a bit. Also the chat is ok but the "regular" spammers are out of control and are very "good" at it persay.
