The Story of how I became a lot richer, by Gongusan I was pretty low on money (900k, yeah I know it's not bad, but I needed more). I had decent enough armour, but I felt something was missing... So I thought to myself one day, 'I've got 42 prayer, and my mage aint bad either, why don't I try Barrows for size?'. So I read tip.it's guide, and I read Leester's guide, and I read all there was to read about Barrows, I came to the conclusion that I needed level 50 mage, level 55 slayer, and last, level 43 prayer (duh). So I started training, and after a lot of work, I was still only 41 slayer, however, I had 50 mage, and my 43 prayer was easy to get thanks to 10 dragon bones. :P So there I was, slaying some ghouls when someone came to me and I asked him about Barrows, I told him I was gonna' use slayer dart. He told me, however, that he uses the same spell I was using on the ghouls I was fighting (fire bolt). So I thought to myself, 'Why not try it with wind blast? Doesn't use much runes, it's powerful, and cost efficient.' The next thing I knew I was at Barrows, air staff at hand, 4 prayer pots, cakes :S, and runes. I brought with me all that and full rune/ blue d'hide and a ddp+. So I headed to Dharock, my hand shaking at the thought of losing all my cash, and I, how should I put it? I p00ned him... 'Well he was easy enough,' I thought, and then did Verac, and then I came to Karil, and nearly got 'p00ned' by him. (accidentally left prayer off and he hit two 20s, *gulp*.) I carried on and beat Ahrim and Torag, Guthan was my tunnel bro. Ahrim gave me a lodda' trouble, but I managed to win lol. I entered to tunnel with only 2 doses of p pot left, 'Darn, now what?' I thought as Guthan kicked my head in. I knew I couldn't win, and I forced myself to press the cammy teleport. Damn! What if my kill count resets? But it didn't, I found out when I returned with more pots. I killed Guthan and looted the chest hopefully. Runes. Bloody runes... I met a friend who wanted to go with me so I went again after my disappointing first loot of the chest. This time I had 5 pray pots, and lobbies, not bloody cakes :S. I beat them again as normal, this time with a friend, to discover that Ahrim, the mage who gave me so much trouble last time, was my tunnel brother. Darn... After my friend begged me for my second to last 3 dose prayer potion, I finally gave in and gave him it. Now what, by the time i hit the tunnel, I only had 1 ruddy dose left! I met Ahrim in the tunnel, as my friend pmed me about his loot (runes), and I fought, but, no matter how confident I was, he was hitting hard... I defeated him bravely, but was left with a mere 19 hp (or thereabouts), and the skeletons of the crypt were hitting me hard. As I stood in a safespot, I realised my health wasn't going up as usual. It was another curse of the evil Barrows. And then, some idiot came up to me and lured a skeleton to me! I closed my eyes in fear, and as they returned to the screen, I found my self in Lumby. With all my items! Thank you so much you beautiful ring of life! I returned to the crypts, hopeful as ever, and finally arrived at the chest safely as I had lobbies with me and prayer pots (I thought Ahrim might have respawned, but he didn't) I'd blown nearly 200k on supplies, so i desperately hoped for a good reward from that darn chest I'd worked so hard to get to. I opened it, my heart beating with hope. I searched it, my soul screaming in anxiousness. And as I looked at my inventory I stared. I had 80 blood runes, about 100 deaths, and in the bottom corner of my invy I looked and I saw: A Guthan Warspear! I shouted omfg omfg omfg multiple times via pm to all my friends, and w0000t as I stared at it. Later that day, I was scammed in my desperation to sell. 5 mil down the drain... Lol just kidding! I sold it for 5.2mil, and I still don't know what to spend it on though... Plz rate this for my second Barrows run! EDIT: getting it ready to be moved to blogscape...

definitely a blue... it's taking me forever to get 55 slayer as everytime i finish a task i start doing something else like cw etc. And if I get a clue from a slayer monster I just can't resist doing it :oops:
