  1. What's the best things to do? In your opinion of course :)
  2. Well then I guess I need to find some friends who will stay with RS :)
  3. Well, I used to be P2P a few years ago then I stopped playing, but I only play at the holidays now, but I only play for like 2 days now then get bored... There's nothing to do in F2P, It's sooo dull... :(
  4. How do you manage to do it? How can you stay F2P for so long and get such high levels? I only play Runescape during the holidays so when I play, I find I quickly become bored, my levels are nearly all around the 50 mark (apart from fishing and cooking which are around 70, and crafting which is like 20  ) and I've completed all the quests, so I feel there's nothing left to do. Plus because I only play during holidays when I come back I find friends have all quit or made new accounts, so I make a few new ones and the same thing happens again.
  5. Oohh they sound much nicer I'll take them first :P Thanks :D
  6. Darn, I'm not a frequent player (only at holidays) so my cb is only 66  I'm not gonna win but meh it's just a game, I'll go for it :D Thanks
  7. Another quick question :) What's the highest monster combat rating for F2P? Thanks, I'd just like to say to people that I beat it even though it's probably only like 80 or something
  8. Ah right thanks, I was skimming through these forums and say that it was a F2P minigame so just thought I'd ask  Thanks for your help :)
  9. Hi I'm coming back for a while ('cause it's Easter =D) and have a (probably nubish ) question, is Bounty Hunter a safe minigame? Thanks to all who answer  :D
  10. I was away for awhile, and now all my prices are messed up, does anyone know where I could get some info, or anything you guys know please post. P.S I'm not sure if this should go in the Help and Advice forum, as it's not help or advice, maybe it is help I'm not sure. Thanks! :D
  11. With those stats you could definitely do it, good luck when you try!
  12. I created this guide solely own my own, if your friend has it on file, then tell him to get rid of it, I have not gave anyone permission to copy this file, so I will ask you to ask him to get rid of it.
  13. I was away for a while so I might have missed it! :D Updating mining section now!
  14. Yea, I didn't want to put in to much text until I got my pictures, so I'll put my tips in tommorow, with my pictures! :D Thanks for the help! :D
  15. Yes we don't need dogs AND horses running around. It would be PetScape, *laughs at his own rubbish joke!* :D Yeah ditch the horses but keep the dogs  we could call this game the online version of Nintendogs : Yea, I want to call my Jack-Russell Terrier, Jack! How did I come up with it? :D
  16. Ok hi, I'm going to be talking about how to make money, using some your Free to Play (F2P) skills. This is only F2P skills, as I am not a member. You will need some of these skills, depending on what type of skill you choose, Fishing, a Minimum of 30. Mining a Minimum of 20. First fishing. This all depends on your dedication, as fishing can be quite slow. If you do not have a fishing level of 30, then it will be drastically slow! Now the first thing you will be needing are feathers, and a fly fishing rod. To get feathers you have two options, gathering your own or buying from other players. I recommend buying them from other players as they are very cheap, under 6gp each. To get these just go onto forums or in game (I recommend forums) and look for someone selling feathers, they are usually selling them in bunches of 10k to 20k. Just post saying that you would like 1k of feathers (or whatever your budget can manage) or if you are on the Runescape Forums and cannot post because you are F2P just add that persons name to your friends list and Private Message (PM) them in-game, saying something like I'll buy 1K of feathers (or again what ever your budget can manage) my world, your place. And try to meet up. If your buying ingame go to a Trade World (World 1,3,4,5) go to Varrocks West Bank, and outside the smithing place, shout something like, "Buying 1K feathers (again, whatever your budget can manage) 5-10gp each *your name*" change this a little each time even if it is just a spelling mistake or something, so they don't think you have an auto-typer. Now hen you have your feathers you will need a flyfishing rod, which you can buy quite cheaply in any fishing shop. When you have your feathers and your fishing rod, head to Barbarian Village. There are two fishing spots there. And two banks very close. One in Edgeville and Varrocks West Bank. You will have to fish 26 trouts and salmons before you head to either bank. Just keep repeating this process, untill you have used up all of your feathers. Now at this point is your first big decision, gain some cooking experience, or sell them straight away. Whatever you decide to do, sell you trout at 40gp and your salmon at 60gp. I would recommend selling your cooked fish (if you cooked it) in Edgeville, on a Player Killing World (PK World), but if you didn't cook it selling it on any forum would be the best way to go. You can keep repeating this process, until you have the amount of money you want, or until you can mobe onto the next stage. Stage two, Lobsters. Fishing Level, minimum 55, other way it's terrible slow. Now Lobsters in F2P are tricky. Most would tell you not to do it, but I think they are great. It's your choice. Firstly you will need a lobster pot, which you can again buy at any fishing shop quite cheaply. Next you will need to work out the amount of Lobsters that you plan on catching. If you are catching 1K of Lobsters (which would get you from 190-250k) You would work it out like this, 1K/26=38.46, 38.46 is the number of runs you will have to make. It will of course be rounded up to 39. 39x60=2,340, 60 is the number of GP you will be using per trip, 30gp to get over to Karamja, 30gp to get back. This means that all the Lobsters you catch (if you catch 1K) will cost 2,340gp. Now for all of you who don't know how to get to Karamja, you have to go to Port Sarim, south of Falador, west of Draynor. And look for the sailors in blue. Pay them the 30gp needed and you are on your way to Karamja. Now to get down to the dock, look for the banana trees, then head south right through them. Right-Click each fishing spot, and look for "Cage Fishing". When you have fished 26 Lobsters head back to the docks where you came onto the island, and pay your far back! Head to the bank in Draynor or Falador, and bank your fish. Then repeat this process, until your money runs out, by then you will have all your Lobsters. Now again another big decision, cook your lobsters or sell them raw. I would recommend selling them raw, as most people buy them raw, for the cooking exp. Again I would recommend selling them on the forums, either way. For more details, click the link in my signature! Ok now for mining. You will need a minimum mining level of 20. This is to speed it up. Now you will need the best pick axe possible. Check your mining level and consult the mining guide in the skills list to see what you can use. Check out any price guide to see much how to pay. I wouldn't recommend wearing anything, unless you are a low level player, in a place where there are enemies. Falador and Al Kharid mines. Now you are ready to go. I am going to tell you about the Falador mines. To get there head to the very East of Falador, and look for a small house with nothing in it but a table, a bookcase and a flight of stairs. This house is one of the closest towards the wall. Head down the stairs and you are into the mine. The ore we are going to be mining is iron. The best place to mine iron in here to the north when you enter, there are three iron rocks together. You will be changing between each of these as you continue to mine your iron. If there is someone there who has a higher mining level, and he/she is getting all the ores, ask him if he/she is powermining, and if they say yes, say you will run their ores for them. This means you will take their ores and then deposit them in the bank and go back and repeat this process. If they are not, then head to a different world until you can get your own ores, or someone will give you theirs. If you mine your own head to the bank, deposit them and head back. Keep repeating this process until you have 1K ores, or whatever the number of ores you want. When you have you have all the ores you want, either head to the marketing worlds, or head to the forums. Try find someone who is buying the iron first before you offer you're ores. Look for the highest offer first. If you can't find a buyer just say you are selling for 100-150gp. Just keep repeating this process until you have the amount of money that you wanted, or you can move on to the next stage. Stage 2, Coal. Now coal, it is still thought of as one of the big money making skills in F2P. It does need time. Now coal is fiercely contested for unless you can enter the mining guild. The mining guild has a sort of code. If someone is on a rock, then you go and find yourself another rock, simple. Now if your not in the guild then there are three rocks directly north of the stairs going into the mine. They are hard to get unless you have a high mining level of say 40+. Now you must do the same as iron. And when you have all your coal, head onto a forum or a market world, and look for the highest bidder or if you can't find anyone selling between 150-300gp, do not sell! Put in your own thread or shout out yourself. Just keep repeating this process, until you have your desired cash. That's all for today. Tomorrow, my pictures! Please rate, tell me what I could improve, please just positive critisim. Thanks for reading and I hope this helps. :D
  17. Yes we don't need dogs AND horses running around. It would be PetScape, *laughs at his own rubbish joke!* :D
  18. Well said, but as more and more people turn to MechScape (not saying this WILL happen though) the less development Runescape would have. :D
  19. I know some of you say it's stupid, but you all would like to see horses, wouldn't you? :D EDIT: Would horses not be better in the desert? (By the way if you mean the desert part after Al Kharid, then OK, no question.)
  20. Hmm, so if any of us bring ourselves over to WOW we'll be broke... :D By the way you could just say that horses are a certain price, not judge it on WOW. :D
  21. Hmm, so that what that was. There were some spelling errors there... :D
  22. Was there not a whole topic about a new Runescape 3 coming out? I would like to know more about that! On topic: the pictures of Mechscape charactures look cool! :D
  23. Why are you banging your head? Pretty stupid thing to do... :D
  24. I agree, but horses would be cool! :D
