The hidden blade moves in and out (not really anything special about it). Nanites and such are injected through the blade using pressurized salt water. Penetration is low energy, high focus. Superheat is low energy, unfocused. Bloom is very low energy, medium-high focus. The wireless tazer function could use multiple capacitors, discharging two at a time for lethal, one for stun. Industrial lasers use 100-300W, surgical lasers use 30-100W, so depending on the develpment batteries are at, there shouldn't be any huge problems fitting them somewhere on my person. Nex, blooming is ionization caused by lasers, the ionized matter works as a conductor straight into the target.
