It would be more likely if the power was exponentially proportionate to the amount of mages, just like the power of a tactic would be to the amount of soldiers.

The Draugen reaches out for the man's face, attempting to crush his head in its palm, it then proceeds to pick up its sword and slaughter the oponents.

Hoving no memory of the kid, the Draugen decides for it to be his first victim... (I think it would be inaproporiate to describe these actions) ... before proceeding into the town to continue the slaughter.
