I agree jagex needs a more team-influenced thing... But runescape really is a solo game. No matter how you slice it, it is harder to get people together in runescape than in any other game. It usually taks an hour or more to gather up people for a kq or kbd trip, and by then you probably have irl things you have to do. You don't really belong in a group in ruenscape, its really all about stat building and new weapons for YOURSELF when it comes down to it. The fact that a lot of things can be soloed is because jagex knows that not very many people play this for the group aspect of it. Heck, you don't even see very many teams in the wildy. Its all about solo, tb, freezing, these all are done by one person. Just look at castlewars. you don't really team up with people, just attack the one that everyone's attacking. You can be completely independant and still get a ticket at the end. Runescape has never been and never will be a group game. It's very single player, there are only a cople of quests that it would even help if you took someone with you.

STring amulets is auto- but doesn't do all at once. It just strings all that are in your invo, one big spell at a time. meaning that it is one cast per inventory or one cast per unstrung amulet One cast per amulet...not worth it, 1 ball of wool is much cheaper than 3 astrals well.. balls of wool are a pain to get. So is the money/ess for the runes

Building and raising construction was the most fun I had out of any of the skills. +1, getting something new at every level? That is the most fun ive had in a long time. That and I still use it today. Skills like fishing and cooking that I spent a long time to get have no use for me because i can just buy the sharks. Skills like construction stay with you forever.

Wrong. An altar right next to a tele place with an infinate amount of teles to anywhere is pointless? It is a pkers, kqers, barrowers, and questers dream. THE BEST skill besides combat skills. If u read the post, i didn't say it was pointless... but i do think it is a waste of money i just dont use those kind of things... oxymoron much? huh?? When you say it is pointless it sompletely rules out the fact that you said it has some uses. 1M for that stuff is not much. I make 1m per day with barrows...

kq is whimpy compared to some boss monsters on other games. In runecape you can kill the kq with 2 people... with the best equipment. The boss monsters in other games require 40+ people with very good equipment to defeat. However, his point was that all monsters can be soloed. Even if you can solo the kq, it is indeed difficult to do and is best done with a team.

OK, here's what 1M-1.5M in construction gets you (52 con). - Tele to anywhere on ancients - An instant pray recharge with the click of a teleport tablet or regular tele - A teleport to the werewolf town - Games, games, games - A butler that pretty much owns - Fun in raising the skill - Total lvl + - Self accomplishment, morale boost... - Let me stress this again. Teleport anywhere with ancients. - Glory tele (infinate) - Meeting place - Barrow repair for resduced cost -The ability to plank logs really fast, which can make MAJOR BUCKS if you do it right Not worth it?- Pssh I love my house and would have spent 2M just for the feeling of accomplishment I got while doing it. Every level you get that "oh wow i can make something new" feeling, and you have easy access to rimmington which is easy acess to one of the best rune shops ever, not to mention SNAPE GRASS RESPAWN.

I was expecting a few construction-related spells, like plank logs. Farming is useless to me. Melee PKing is useless to me. Therefore these spells are useless for me. I refuse to do farming for this quest. Far too boring.

I've never done it, first off. I can understand why you'd bypass help and advise. I don't blame you. Just listen for the sound. That will help most.

Because this is a very general board, and you can post very general things here, and appreciate it a lot. Most other forums are people-specific. You can enjoy being a runescape player here, and you can look at various amusing posts and waste your time. Plus, a lot of tip.it ers are members. That's just how it goes.
