  1. Especially the :wall: emote. If I banged my head against a brick wall every time I did something that screwed up any chance of being with a girl, my brain would have exploded. :-s
  2. LOL. Just go to Start>Control Panel>System It'll look something like this:
  3. I'm male, and I got smack dab in the middle. :(
  4. It's good to see that England is taking action to stop people from harming others by smoking. In New York, for the past few years it's been against the law to smoke in restaurants (which I'm very glad for). I can't stand it when I go to another state and I have to put up with people smoking in a restaurant. :(
  5. I know exactly what you mean. Why can't girls just say things right to your face instead of having you figure out they're interested, only for you to never realize they're using signals and you never make your move and the girl gives up on you? :-s
  6. Don't worry, you're not the only person who feels that way. My summer so far has been pretty much that. It's incredibly boring. :(
  7. That's because normal definition tvs have low resolutions. Something like 800x600 or less. A standard computer monitor usually runs at 1280x1024. High def tvs run at 1280x720(720p resolution) or 1920x1080 (1080p resolution). I don't recall ever saying otherwise. :-s
  8. Yeah, but if you're going to buy more RAM be sure not to buy RAM that's slower than what you already have, otherwise all the RAM will run at the speed of the slowest RAM you have installed.
  9. I think that adding a quick reply box would make replying to posts a lot easier and would also be beneficial to dial-up users, since when posting a reply to a topic they would have one less screen to load. Something like http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=230887 would probably work nicely. Here's a screenshot of what it would look like:

The text on the banner is hard to read and the sharks are very pixelated. But other than that it's fine. :-s
  11. Don't do it. I've used a TV as a monitor for my computer before through the S-Video port in my video card and let me tell you, the quality is horrible. It was even worse when I hooked up the TV end using an S-Video to RCA adapter.
  12. 1 GB of RAM is more than enough to run Runescape lag-free. However, if you do decide to upgrade your computer by installing additional RAM, make sure you buy the right kind. ;)

I apologize if this is not the correct place to post an introduction topic, as I was unable to find a place designated for doing so. --------------------- Hello there! I have finally come to Tip.It after many years of involvement in the Runescape community. My Runescape username is 123nintendo and I have been playing Runescape since January 2003 (though of course with a few extended breaks in-between). I have been a member of Runevillage since December 28th 2003, but I'm afraid I've finally decided to move on. Things just weren't going nearly as well there as they used to--which is why I am now here. I hope to help this site in any way I can and to become a well-known and respected member of the community. ;)
