Yea don't buy anything unless you are POSITIVE you want it. The later things (that you can't see yet) are very much worth saving up for. Has anyone made a complete list of all of the armors yet? That would be pretty wicked if someone did.

Don't get me wrong, I haven't played the beta or anything but... Not everything is focused around multiplayer. The ad campaign might not have been about the multiplayer. WHY DOES EVERYONE JUDGE A GAME BASED SOLELY ON MULTIPLAYER. It's so annoying when people say "Oh this game is total crap. I mean, the multiplayer sucks!" (e.g. MW2) Yea, because multiplayer is EVERYTHING right? Who cares about the singleplayer story, or any added features (like Spec Ops). I've had my xbox for quite a while, and have barely had LIVE for a year (less-than actually). Since I couldn't ever play online, I always got pretty hooked to the singleplayer stuff. Some games have AMAZING singleplayer stuff (this one looks decent, so I might get it.), but people who own the game just blow it off for multiplayer and judge it solely on that! It's very annoying <_< [/rant]

Quality "this-is-what-is-wrong-with-MW2" game today. 4v4 Team tac. The entire other team had hacks. Literally, each one had different ones. One had a full-auto FAMAS + wall hacks. Another had either 1000% damage, or made it so he could kill like in hardcore (he killed in one shot). One was speeding around with some sort of auto-sensor (he was running away from me a few yards away, no indication I was there, and then just turned around and sprayed) and wall hacks, and another had it so explosives didn't work against him. Eg. You threw c4 next to him and couldn't X-spam detonation. It just did nothing. Using the detonator didn't kill him. Oh and every care package was an EMP. So yea. I have a bad feeling that when BO comes out, stuff like this will show up pretty early since quite a few people have gotten good at hacking games.

So I looked on Bungie's forums today and saw a thread for "legitimate cR boosting" (or something along those lines.) Read a few of them, and tried the gruntpocalypse one. How can people stand to do that for hours on end? IT'S SO [bleep]ING BORING. Although the headshots are nice. Other than that, just seems like too much of a grind.

No help on the campaign (I think it's stuck like that), but everything else went back to normal for me after about a day. Just have to re-equip all of your armor.
