Unafraid to bot
Thanks, I'll tell them this when I see them online on msn. Could be thousands of chins in their invent. But I doubt they will renew membership to try this out though. There is a topic on here called something like "Methods to kill bots". That could help your resource friends. Perhaps if it works well for them, they might find bots fun to have around. I mean if you can get a bot killed, and receive a full bag of a resource item, then that's pretty neat. Anyhow the Rimmington Yew spot is good way to get some cash + test out if you can really kill bots well. My point is: If they succeed in killing Bots at that popular Yew tree spot, it might convince them to become member again and take the fight to Members.

Unafraid to bot
Your friends can try to kill the bots if they are low level. Example Rimmington Yew trees. Drop Yew logs towards Hobgoblins. Bots should follow the trail and get killed by Hobgoblins. Result? Perhaps a bag full of Yew logs as bot dies.

Unafraid to bot
Before i say what i am going to say, Logdotzip speaks words of wisdom. Why should you bother to go against your friends over a game? Jagex don't give a [bleep]. They didn't bother to show respect to F2Ps who have played the [bleep]ed up game of "free world" with inhuman grinding and bad experience rates. They didn't bother to make a Vet cape without stats for F2P. They don't bother to make Community events interesting (Banishing of Revs - awesome event!!!!!!) If your a member, your cool. If your a Free player, your dirt. That's their philosphy. Respect is given to those who have earned it. And Jagex....enuff said. I don't support cheating, botting or RWT. But i have gained knowledge that Jagex does not care about their players, and because of it i am indifferent of all of these things in context with Runescape.

Unafraid to bot
I am pretty sure that if a thief/robber played Runescape that they would most likely play the game in a honest way. Afterall, there is plenty monsters, coins, spots and so on. Where as in real life there is lack of houses, food, jobs etc. And honestly i find it better that kids at age of 12-17 bots Runescape, instead of using their OWN time on it. Life experience>Game experience. It's not right that Jagex makes young players addicted to Runescape. I find that worse than botting.

You got into a argument with a RS friend because of him/her botting? LOL.

Honestly Dungeoneering feels more like a minigame than a skill. This is because most skills can be done at many spots, where as Dungeoneering has one place to do it. + Most skills gives you experience seconds that go by, while Dungeoneering it takes at minium 1 minute for 500 experience. And then there is the requirement of team to receive greater experience, because let's face it if you solo Dungeoneering your pretty much wasting your time.

I agree with this man Lady. + Way you described Dungeoneering seemed like you were trying to be poetic about the skill while taking a *** during Toilet visit. Did not say spesific why it was bad.

I tried to make a Tomato plant. I gave up trying to finish it. Anyhow i wanted to share it instead of just erasing it and forget about it: Might as well just hand me the first prize

As first article said, Jagex could have made a Veteran cape for F2Ps without stats. But they didn't. Which says again and again, and again....And AGAIN: Jagex don't give a crap about showing respect to those being loyal and respecting Jagex. Don't believe me? Your loss.

Tip.it's Miscellaneous Patch Notes for July
Combat left clicking is something i will add as "optional" as i think that's a sensitive decision for Jagex. However Bruno, what do you think of this idea? When a group is in a clan chat or friends chat, the option to attack one and another is removed.

03-May-2011 Capes of Distinction
It's not a matter of "Become member". It's just stupid to advertise Runescape saying that it's popular because of the free version. And also using Members content artwork to lure future players to play the game.

03-May-2011 Capes of Distinction
Jagex sure are conceited: QUOTE from link: "That said, we are hugely proud of our free-to-play game. RuneScape offers millions of players one of the largest free-to-play MMORPGs, without ever asking them to subscribe. We give free players thousands of hours of content and it is a testament to the game that we have loyal players who have played the game for five years without ever paying us a penny. " Most players who stay in free world are either one of these: 1) A player who explores free world and quits 2) A player who takes on "Free challenge" 3) A player who levels or stays free only to become member later So that being said "Jagex your free game SUCKS". I can get the same "thousands of hours of content" from a free PC game very easily. And it would be 10 times better than free world.

When i think about it F2Pers who have played for 5 years deserv a Veteran cape. It's ridicolous how unthoughtful Jagex is.

Posted on another forum, but i do agree with it 100%. That's a very nice post. I agree with it 100%. And no it's not ethical, and that's the reason i will not have any great respect for Jagex. A game should not be easy, but the developers should not add rewards to encourage grinding. They are number 1 free game, but it's only because of quantity of new players, and not because of Quality. Once the new players achieve most F2P stuff, they quit or go member. Same thing repeats, and new players come and go. So again, Runescape F2P is not a game popular because of it's quality or content. If it was based on that Runescape would be below #20. And they also use cool Members artwork (Bandos boss, Phoenix) to attract players. So deceiving them that free worlds has all of this.
