Lol, I'm pretty damn sure he reported an aobnormally high rate for em :P 2 in 40-50 clues is alot, considering how much time it takes to get those clues and finish them.

Well Dan, how about this? 4 Spawn spots - 4 Jmods Spawn 1 and 2 will be spots in low wildy for low level players to go to. Monsters: Imps, goblins, pyrefiends, Hobgoblins, Vampire, Werewolf, Cyclops/hillgiant, Demons Spawn 3 and 4 will be in High wildy for high level players. Monsters: Orks, Knights, Rev Dragons, Dark beasts, and all other bad ass revs. Jagex could take that kind of approach. What do you think Dan?

I thought maybe i could do level 2 clues for 15M Ranger boots. But Synthox reports low odds. So i won't be following up my plans.

Grimy mentioning reward just a example of a way to attract people to the event. Now he has said that he would come if Revs were spawned even if reward was 0, and i would too. We're two high levels. It's not something for me or Grimy, because we're not afraid of Revs. I think fear of Revs is a factor. Players who are afraid of revs would not dare to fight them. Now through this event it gives them chance to "Banish" them, so yes that's exiciting. But what about us who aren't afraid of revs, and who have killed revs many time? How is it fun when we're barely being challenged? 30+players with a Jmod going around killing 1-3 revs in 3 seconds. Then move around more... But like Low has said, event has not begun yet, so we will see. I am just saying that if it will go the way i think it will, then it's neither fun or challenging for me to take part in. And i am not against Jagex. I am just giving feedback on how they can make someone like me join the event. :thumbup:

Please let us know if the event will be special (rev spawns or similar). Because then i would really like to join. :thumbsup:

And Rachya i assume Jmods can summon revs and so on, but if they can 1) why don't they do that? if they can't 2) Why don't they ask developers to help them a little? I understand the developers have work involving main updates, but if your gonna "Banish the revenants", at least do it with a blast. So that people will remember from a 2 years from now and say "Yeah, it was really fun!". I REALLY would come if they did Rev spawns. And i don't care about the rewards. I just don't wanna go looking for Revs with Jagex moderators who could instead spawn the revs in 4 spots. But i will end it with this: Next time Community team, WORK with the developers. That's constructive critism. The event could have been so awesome. :-# :-# Or they could hire developers who can work with community management team. Fun events>More players play game>More cash comes in.

That's cool. But i do hope that programmers work with community team in future. Because if they do, the scale of how fun the event can be will go from 2-4 , to 7-9. (10 scale) To ZaPs: 1) If you wanna find strongest Rev, just RC and one or two Rev dragons will appear quite often. 2) Remember to wear Salve amulet (e) = 20% att and str on Revs, and Jennicas ring (improved chance of better drops - probably slim but worth using).

This. The rate for rangers must be pretty damn high because I've only done around 40-50 lvl 2 clues, and I've gotten 2 rangers. That might just be my pro luck though :) Thanks :shades:

Support count: 2 This suggestion works like this. When you get a rare drop, a yellow arrow will pop up indicating where the rare drop is. The arrow is like when you do Orb-scans (elite clue), but to make it less work for Jagex, the arrow appearing on minimap is enough. So the meaning of this suggestion is to alert a player about rare drops. For example Dragon claws, Hilt, and so on. Now this is not needed in many places, because you can easily see the drop. But at places like for example Chaos cave, where you get Dragon pickaxe, when you cannon in there, you tend to have over 30+ drops. And drops can appear everywhere in the cave, so you have to check all red dots on minmap for Dragon pickaxe. I would appreciate if Jagex somehow could make a update that makes it easier to find out if you got a rare drop or not. I bet many people will now critize this idea and say it's no need for it. Well to me, a very simple change like this would be very great. It's compareable to when you do Barrows and open the puzzle door, you got attacked. But then Jagex made it so you couldn't be attacked, and everyone was so glad. At places like Tormented demons, this idea is no good. But at monsters where i kill tons of em and a rare drop can be obtained, then it makes a huge difference. If you can alert a player that he/she has gotten a rare drop, and it will be a simple task to make this happen, then why not do it?

It's supposed to be a game. This kind of stuff makes it more fun. Well done, Jagex. So just because Jagex makes a event where they take us to hunt Revs, it's "Well done, Jagex"? That's not fun a event to me. I can and HAVE done that by my own. And i have owned 12 Revs at ONE Star at highest wildy, and waited for more to arrive... The least admistrators of Runescape can do is make a unique event, not something we could do by ourself. For example spawning LOADS revs in 4 spots in Wilderness. Like how "Hati" wolf has 3 spawns. And make the spawns come in "waves" like Fight cave. Building up the number of revs as u go higher. NOW THAT'S A EVENT.

Anyone got a clue what the odds is of Ranger boots from medium clue? Also does anyone know of a monster that is cannonable and drops medium clues often?

Why do everyone call this event a gimmick?

Sounds fun...only if Jagex summons revs to a event location. Not if we have to go around patroling. And will there be rewards i wonder?

1) I saw a Youtube video and the attack seems pretty much the same, BUT it seems it has become faster attack. Has it? 2) Is the sound of Jad's magic attack still there, or has Jagex maybe taken it away without telling?

I wish i could ask Jagex a question without a big change coming up like Free trade and Wilderness return :-? Good to know that player trades will affect G.E price, but that sounds worrying.

Wouldn't Runescape lagg more if more players were logged into game and using the servers?

I've experienced some lagg and i have heard from friends and strangers that they have experienced lagg. Could this be because of bots?
