  1. Jagex doesn't give two craps about you if you can't afford a computer, nonetheless membership. RC'ing is nearing useless in F2P. So they have little reason to need it. It's just going to be another thing that will attract members because they think they will be able to get 91 quickly and make tons of money. If it's for F2P, that's all well and dandy, but I doubt it will be, as only the speculations are being made now with little evidence to prove otherwise - actually either way at this point.
  2. Hmm, I'll go try this out sometime. Sounds like a nice little discovery though. Thanks! :D
  3. I just have to say: Welcome to Tip.it. :
  4. The cut off is Aug 18. They switched it from Aug 4. Which is why you saw two messages. If you are an existing member, you have two weeks to resubscribe after Aug 18. So if you switch cards now, it won't affect you at all.
  5. I can get like 70k EXP an hour. But I'm 88 STR. Maybe 50k or so?

Is it just under PaybyCash? It's sold at WalMart, so I might try it.
  7. In all fairness, being a pmod wouldn't let you know about their criteria than anybody else. I've seen the pmod center, it has nothing in there that anyone wouldn't know with a little common sense. All I'm saying is if a number of people can get a bunch of pmod accounts within a fortnight by autoing, all with an average of 100 reports, Jagex can't have a very rigorous screening process. This makes sense considering their terrible customer support. Not to argue, but I would have to say it does. And no, that is not how you become a player moderator, at least not anymore. Although granted, they do have terrible customer support.
  8. I know you would love to think you got pmod by helping people, being mature etc, but it doesn't work like that. Actually never mind, I shouldn't comment.

Thanks Toast! Except I'm only going to extend my membership by a month. I don't want to put down money for the account I'm only going to use once. Thanks though! : I'm pretty sure the card is free, and you only pay for the money you put on it. On here it says you have to pay a fee to set up an account. Either way, I think mail is what I'm going to go with. Thanks guys.
  10. Yes, actually they do. And it generally isn't the sheer amount of reports that gets you to become a moderator. Being a player moderator in my mind, is extremely rewarding, but a tad time consuming. You don't "miss out" on anything in the game, but it doesn't make it any easier or harder. It's a lot more work than just reporting.

  12. I agree with all of those except the first one. I've seen a few mods that type like this: "Hey wut ru doin? Want 2 train wit me 2morow?" Although, they might have changed their curriculum recently. You certainly don't need to use the highest level of English you know. But Jagex wants people who can represent them. And every time moderators speak they act as ambassadors for them. Of course they're not going to "hire" hundreds of gangsta speaker player. So yes, while you don't need it, it can't hurt.

Ok, thanks, that sounds much easier. :P Have to find some stamps now.

Hmm, how exactly does this work? I go to PayByCash, then it'll direct me to a page I print out. Fill it out, then send it with money in an envelope to them?
  15. Hehe. While I can't tell you how to become a moderator, I can tell you: Use proper grammar and spelling. Send in accurate reports, quantity means nothing. I don't think bug reports will do you much, if any good, it can't hurt. Oh, and stick with your moderator friends, they'll help you out. Am I a Runescape moderator? Maybe.

Sounds easier than I thought, but I'm still no the only one with access to that account right now. I suppose I could make another account..but that seems like a lot of trouble just to pay off >$10. That might be a solution, but is there anything else?

Alright guys...I have texting currently disabled on my phone. I have a credit card, for emergency use only (not the only person with access to it anyhow), and I refuse to get one after a steady rate of spending $300 on clothes each week. I don't have a PayPal account. And I'm not to sure how to put money into them, without using a credit card. How does this all relate to Runescape? Well, I have about 10 days left on my membership. I've canceled it after a repeated argument with my mother saying that I should be focusing more on studies (and like I'm actually going to study 24/7). So are there really any other options for membership? Ah, the pay by mail thing might work. Do they send a letter back? What about that new Wallie-card? I've never even heard about them until now. Are they available in major stores in the US? England? Heck, I'd even try that pay by PayPal thing, you know, when people post that "get free membership!" thing? I do only want one month extra of membership by the way.
  18. If you had the time to go into all that trouble of downloading illegal third party software, then you should have the time to virus scan and then get your account back. And thus, if you left your account on all the time, then JAGeX will ban it. oh my gawd, is it so hard to go to a place where noone comes and put a rock on your -> arrow key to keep your screen rotating and you keep logged in? there is after that a 100% chance f u getting banned cauz ur afk which against rules.. i can make program which move it like 5 minutes right arrows 2 minutes left arrow.. walk a lil bit... mmm bank.. close bank... move camera.. etc etcc Oh yeah, it's not the least bit suspicious that you're repeating the same events over and over for 168 total hours. No, not at all.
  19. http://www.grisoft.com/ Download AVG free. Much better than Norton IMO. Then delete all the files it finds to be warnings, ad-ware, spy-ware or the sorts. You could also try making another free account and see if he steals that. If he does, or it logs on from a different IP, it's concluded that the problem is at your end; meaning your computer. Actually, I prefer Norton by far. But then again, I have Norton 360... Eh, I had both before my mum did a rollback(because the internet wouldn't connect. -.- ). AVG found a ton of warnings (tracking cookies) that Norton never did. Although they're not as serious as something like a trojan, I got rid of them before they were any problem. Not that they would have caused much. :| It really just comes down to opinion I suppose.
  20. Oh, right, forgot about the helmet thing. :P And thanks Amitoz.

  22. You could possibly stay at tasks longer. Meaning more EXP and more drops. But it really depends on which you want to level faster. Guthans for Slayer, SS for Strength.
  23. I would say Guthans. Unless you really want to go train for 99 Strength. In which case an SS with a Bunyip would do.
  24. Does full Void stack with an Amulet of Salve? A Black Mask? I didn't think it did, but I was just making sure. :|
