  1. The problem is with randoms/autoers is that the programs have scripts to react when a random event occurs. Hence why it does nothing 75% of the time I don't know if any of you ever read the "wind of fire trilogy" , but its allot like in the first book where those people keep coming no matter what, they even walk to there death and the others keep coming, walking over them, lol.
  2. Yeah, like you say, it's illegal to take down there site, but heck, If they want to ruin the game, I'd ruin there income. And its not SCAR you need to worry about. I have served 4 years in the underground community, and the best working bot is currently being served with scripts via a forum and not easily found. There are people out of no where making bots that can do practically anything. Heck, a bot can do "anything", because it is scripted by a human. Problem comes in with interfering with them, is that we would be in the wrong. But if it ever did happen, perhaps even a DDOS attack, then it would cut down the numbers. Hay,if were lucky, we get the main developers of the autoers team, and steal there program so it alerts Jagex as soon as someone uses it , the possibilities to cut autoing down are endless, it's just putting them in action thats the problem.
  3. (Sorry if i post in wrong area) I have autoed before yes, i won't lie to you, although i have stopped that about a 4 months ago when i started my main account. So don't even bother flaming me... Now then, These bots are actually on sale, people buy them. That is what has led to the sudden increase of bots lately, the fact that they can be obtained. Now you will find, that it is only the working bots that are sold, yes there are "lite" versions of them, but they aren't half as deadly. So i read these forums, and we are all trying to think of a way to stop them Well isn't it obvious? Cut the source. Now you are probably thinking.. "WTF you on boy, thats like impossible" Well, it isn't. Now then, every time Jagex makes a new update (which affects the bots) then you will find a new update comes out for the people to download and use... Cut the source, and they have no update. This would require both Jagex and a group prepared to take down a site to work together. Jagex would need to update the colors in the ores etc (whatever a certain bot goes for) and then the group would need to kick into action. If the people have no site/portal to get updates, then they won't be able to bot. (Of cause the people who scripted them in the first place can, and those that script the "scripts" to go with the program) But how many people do you think can do that? Not half as many as you think. Cutting the source will prevent i would say around 50% of the games Autoers. Who's with me :P So yeah, feedback ?
  4. Anyone can try this, it seems like a bug to me, unsure though. Get your tinderbox and stock up with logs. Go to an area where you can burn a big strip of them. Do the first one, and you will hear/see your character trying to light the logs, while this happens, click on the next log, and as soon as your character moves away from the fire he created, click the tinderbox again. I found that if you do it quick enough, you wont see the animation of going down to light the logs again, and they light, well instantly. Because it will move to the next one right after. (It only goes back to the lighting of the logs animation if you pause in between) So i find (for me) it cuts down the time while fire making, pretty cool 8-)
  5. oh yeah, of cause, the calculators, silly me for forgetting, i just did 2 hours HW,lol, ok, sorry about that :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: Feel free to close
  6. Ok, just out of curiosity, How many logs are needed (i know some here must have 99 in firemaking) Can you estimate how many logs you used? I have 9k willows in my bank, that enough?
  7. Yeah i was being sarcastic when i said it's life. Your absolutely right, it is stupid, but it wont stop, thats the problem...
  8. Sorry if some of the stuff i say has already been mentioned, but i don't have time to read every reply. Now me, I have a hard time being what people call "normal" in life. I never go out, Get bullied, and i spend most of my time on the computer. I warez alot, and i make graphics and stuff. I do this because i am skilled at it, i play games because i enjoy them, like runescape. Now to you people, would i be classed as a no-life person? I do not see why people have to be turned down just because they do something they enjoy/are good at. I play RS perhaps 2-3 hours a day, when i get bored (Yes, I HAVE GOTTEN BORED OF BEING ON THE COMPUTER) I go read. I think the thing is, is that everyone in life is different. Whats "normal" to me, won't be "normal" to everyone else. However a handful of people decide to turn those down who are different than them. I don't know, it's life i guess -.-
