Is there a way to get Full Screen windowed?
REDACTED replied to XxTearGodxX's topic in General Discussion
I now play RS fullesrceen but windowed by using a virtual system! Very easy to setup and not against Jagex rules... because I am still actually playing the game on a Windows XP (virtual) and over firefox. I just set the resolution for the entire desktop to be 800x600 :) Works like a charm people -
i have exactly the same :x What is the anti-aliasing btw? :tard: It kinda smooths the edges of objects in a game, for example a tree. 4x Anti-aliasing will make edges look nice and smooth, while none will make them look rough (Highly visible close up) This can only be turned on however if your Graphics Card supports it.

Runescape HD--New graphics~~Likes and Dislikes
REDACTED replied to Pat_61's topic in General Discussion
I like the environment and look of the buildings and such, that is great. But player wise I think some things just look stupid. For example I think I look more like a women when wearing a plate body because of the "smooth" humps in the chest area. And walking around with a staff just looks... lame. Also running with any weapon looks odd, the whole body movement and such :D Oh well, that is just my opinion :) Thankfully I haven't hit into any lag today   Lightings cool, I accidentally used a fairy ring to the Unicorn Cage, and it was cool how the light of the ring was seen on the body of the Unicorn :D Water looks great. I love the update as a whole :) Just a few minor things need getting used to. -
I use vista and I have no problems, Perhaps something to do with Graphics Card? I am using a ATI Radeon something, but when I tried it on my other PC with a NVIDIA card, it wouldn't work. Odd... :ohnoes:

I am I'm running Vista and I can record/screenshot in full screen no problem [hide=Image][/hide] I really love this full screen mode, I experinced minor lag, then I got a system update and it was fine... Looks so much better now, and playing in full screen just feels so nice, the whole atmosphere and lighting of the game.. I love it to bits!

Thanks allot for the tips/info. Looks like quests it will be =D I did the first fairy tale quest, but I turns out the second one needed for fairy rings needs - 40 thieving - 49 farming - 57 herblore So I now have a aim to achieve that. And I don't know why I did construction first, I was new and just thought it looked cool :D But now I am going to save that till I get some money in, as well learn more about Runescape. I done the Priest in Peril quest so far, and about to do Druidic Ritual so I can start Herblore. And I will take the advice for the other main quests, for xp/areas =D Thanks for that. [hide=My Current Skills] Attack = 54 Strength = 55 Defence = 53 Ranged = 42 Prayer = 33 (35 from quest) Magic = 51 Runecraft = 41 Construction = 30 Hit Points = 55 Agility = 20 (Yes thanks for advice to improve it  ) Herblore = 1 Thieving = 28 Crafting = 46 Fletching = 1 Slayer = 12 Hunter = 15 Mining = 61 Smithing = 56 Fishing = 50 Cooking = 53 Firemaking = 54 Woodcutting = 71 Farming = 19 (All from planting trees in house and a quest) Summoning = 4 [/hide] So I thank you allot for the help, does help me a great deal. I am going to work on some skills needed for quests, as well as doing some. And I will have to try out castle wars

I like the mature responses this forum has, and with nearly every topic made can a nice discussion be found. The staff are friendly and most people seem helpful. I only use this for the forum side of things though, I'm afraid for guides and such I use Zybez because I have a thing for sleek looking sites. (Yeah I even use the phpBB default theme for forum :P) Also, back when I first came along, this had a lot of content, skimming through I saw it was all good and clean, and that to me = good!

well none are really hidden for F2P. But I guess you wont be requiring a bank if it's just for firemaking... Hmmm, Kinda tricky. The only places I know for yews is behind Varrok Palace, Just under Falador, and at Edgeville, Each one normally occupied. There are some Willow trees on the other side of the River Lum at Edgeville, not many people seem to occupy this area from what I have seen. And some can be located around Rimmington Sorry I couldn't be of any more help :(

Just copy and paste the actual direct link, and no need to add image tags or anything.

Well I just got members like last week (first time ever) And I was simply thrown back, with all I could do. I did some quests, and got 30 construction/26 thieving and a few other skills up, but now I just don't know what to do... I guess the problem is I have no one to talk to on the game, thus leaving me wandering round looking at guides and reading about the areas/story's as I go. I want to try Herblore, but I seriously have no idea where to start with that, and I need some money (had 2m but spent it). So what would you lot recommend for me to do? and where to start? I have done some Slayer and Hunting, and like I said before Construction/Thieving as well as some Agility, but none of these has given me profit yet =( So yeah, open for suggestions and a helping hand :D Thanks - AWCADDET

From what I know, the Sorceress's Garden, it gives a generous amount of xp. Only thing I found was that it got annoying and boring after a while. What I did to 25 thieving, is pick pocket Man/Woman around Lumbridge, then move onto the cake stalls Ardougne. You can stand at the side of one of the cake stalls and just keep taking from it with minimum risk of getting caught, and hey, even if you do get caught, you can eat the cakes while running away from it (taking your hp into consideration) because the guards there will fight rather than stun you. Some guy also told me about using a Blackjack to stun higher lvl NPC's, then giving you time to steal from them. Good luck on getting 70! \

The eagle peak place, you know, with the big eagles :D You should be able to get a cool view of the surrounding forests/scenery. Mort Myre swamp might also be a cool place to grab some images, no doubt the atmosphere in that area and deatail of the water would be awesome. Another cool place might be the Hunters area @ Feldip hills, there is some dense jungle in the area, would make a good setting with the foliage and animals roaming the area. Looking forward to see your pictures buddy :D

Ummm yeah... Americas Army was a game which purpose was meant for those who are in training in the Army. The difference between the two games is that AA is a army simulator (it simulates some of the training based on reality), while Runescape isn't a sim, and it wasn't intended to be one. The fact that you are relating AA to RS is kinda strange, but yeah :S I'm not turning down that RS should get realistic updates, It's just that it doesn't need to have them, Its a game away from reality, It's purpose is not to better yourself at killing dragons or cutting trees in real life.

It is people who whine in F2P that make me feel ashamed of being one... F2P is F2P, simple as that, why should Jagex release a skill they worked hard on to us? Members deserve it, because they pay. Granted some F2P would love to pay, but can't (like me) but we should be happy with what we have... I think this might be the icing on the cake for pushing me into getting a membership, even if it does mean me paying more via mobile phone :D

Login Pin + Screenshot Logger Protection -New RSOF Thread-
REDACTED replied to Crimsoncow42's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Well it is also the Users fault if they go and get a keylogger on their machine. So in a sense you are saying they shouldn't be complaining either? -
Oh that would be why, Yeah I drank a Drawven Stout/Beer and ate a kebab :D Thanks for telling me :) Lock/Delete thread now :) Thanks for the help

This might just be the tip of the iceberg which makes me pay for a members account! that was so totally awesome! Thanks a bunch for sharing with us

Well Bubby you have made an awesome Suggestion. Just reading it makes me think of all the benefits it would have, and how much of a great update it would be if Jagex actually did implement it. You got my 100% support on this mate.

Is there really a #1 antivirus/spyware remover?
REDACTED replied to Latinoking's topic in Tech and Computers
It's annoying and cumbersome yes, But it is some ultimate protection (if you don't want to save anything) :o I would go with what lordofrah1, He/She seems to know their stuff :) -
:? I'm not arguing with anyone... :uhh:
