Heya, I thought I'd just start up a blog at these forums, so maybe I can get enough support to actually get the goal levels I'm looking for :) To start off, here's my current stats! As you can see, I'm a pure defense, so getting 60 defense is my main objective. Short term goals:(long-term in paranthese) Fishing: 85/90(99) - I'll be fishing in Shilo Village for getting, eventually, 99 Fishing. Cooking: 82/90(99) - I will be cooking all the fish I get from flyfishing, and maybe buy some lobs/sharks from time to time to speed it up. Firemaking: 76/80(90) - Will be woodcutting to get a lot of logs, and maybe buy some, wouldn't be too difficult goal. Mining: 58/70(85) - I'll be mining when I feel like it, mostly in the desert mining granite, decent xp even at such a low level. Smithing: 35/50(60) - Ill either mine some ores, or buy some, and eventually I'll get it up to 60+. Woodcutting: 68/75(85) - Draynor is where I'll be at most of this goal, and I'll use the willow logs either for Firemaking or Fletching. Fletching: 6/50(85) - Haven't really gotten started on this skill yet, but I know it isn't too hard, so I'll get this without any huge difficulties. Crafting: 48/50(70) - We'll see, I will probably buy thousands of cow-hides and do it that way, not a difficult skill, just a little time-consuming. Thieving: 43/50(75) - Just started on this skill today, and will be fairly easy to get to 50 and then to 75, as I've gotten 90 on an account years ago. Agility: 32/40(60) - I've never been a big fan of this skill, so probably won't get it too high, 60s is decent enough for me. Herblore, Farming, Construction, Hunter: I don't have any goals for these skills yet, and will probably just raise them when I feel like it. Defense: 56/60(60) - The skill I made this character for, as I was inspired by someone called "Miss Judge" on these forums probably over a year ago, who got 60 def by slaying chickens. I thought: "wow, ain't really that many defense pures above lvl 40 defense, so why not make one myself." And that I did! Getting the last few lvls will take ages to do, even if I did it straight through chicken-slaying. But I want to get dragon armour at combat 26, not the normal 27, so I will have to get 4 defense levels and only 1 hits lvl. I will be doing that by getting lvl 57 by genies (already done 13k xp with them :)), get 59 by genies/chickenslaying, then do a couple quests to get the last 30k or so xp.. As I said, will take some time ;) I aren't playing RS as much as I've done earlier with other accounts (started in 2002, gotten highlevels on various accounts, quit them, they got banned etc.) so don't expect me to get these levels soon :) Level-up Pics: I'll add some pictures for when I level up every 5th-10th level, so it won't be too much. Random Pics: As it says, I'll add some random pictures here when I get them.. :D If you've actually read through all of this, props to you cause I probably wouldn't have. Good luck, got a def pure with 56 def myself :) What def level are you aiming for?

Doesn't seem bad, just not sure if I could it with 55def, 60attk, 61str, and 59hp...and a fear of npc's with poison....but that will give me good reason to work on other skills. UPDATE Shilo Village should be do-able; I did it with your defense and 1 in all other combat stats than hp, which was 43.. :) Just poison your weapon and bring a couple antipoison pots and you should be good to go! Anyway, good luck on getting 99 Fishing, will definately be worth it :)

I decided to make a blog on tif, dunno why, but I hope it will motivate me to achieve my goals. :) If you read through the whole blog, PLEASE reply with something, or else this won't motivate me at all.. :( Anyway, I'll start with a picture of my current stats to get it all going: Defense: As you can probably see, I'm a defense pure, and I want to get dragon armour wieldable at the lowest combat level ever, and that's why this will take a while. I'll have to get 60 def without getting higher than 45 hp, to get it at combat 26, or else I'll be lvl 27 :( To do this, I'll get 57 def with genie lamps (yes, will take ages :)), and then do a couple quests for 25k def xp, and then I'll "only" be 30-40k away from 60 def. Fishing I'll be getting this at Shilo Village (yes, I managed the quest.. was a pain the wagon tho -_-), and after every fishing level I'll cook all the raw fish. Should get me to 99 cooking, which is my next goal. Cooking As I mentioned previously, I'll be cooking all the raw fish I get from fishing, but at lvl 95+ cooking it will take quite a while, so might switch to lobs or sharks then.. :D Firemaking This will be quite boring, but I will achieve it with logs I cut myself + buy some. Woodcutting I will "only" be getting 85 in this skill, as I don't really like it that much. Might change when I get higher level tho :) I have several other goals, but I don't have a set timeframe to get them in, and will do it after the stuff I posted first, but will get it some time :) 85 Mining - I've never been a really big fan of mining, but the ability to mine rune is worth it. 99 Fletching - Fletching is a fairly quick skill, just has alot of clicking, but I want 99 fletching some time :) 99 Thieving - Might sound quite far-fetched, but I managed to get 92 thieving on an old account before PP, and I've heard PP is really quick, so 99 thieving is one of my long-term goals. 70 Smithing, Hunter, Construction, Crafting, Runecrafting, Farming, Agility and Herblore - Quite a batch of skills to get high, but I will get them, one time or another.. Won't be soon though! :P The first main goals is for new years eve 2007, then the rest is in 2008 some time, dunno really. It might sound quite far-fetched that me, a low level (both combat and skills), can do this, but I got alot of patience, and determination, so with the support from tif I should be able to manage this. If you've really read this far, no matter if you think I'll make it or not, please post something! :) Ps: Feel free to add me if you want, private chat will always be on, and always good to have someone to chat to. :D

Well, once I saw 3 k gold ores (!) in Lumby gen store, and started running back and forth from bank, but my internet freaked at around 300, and when I came back online they had disappeared.. :(

It isn't really out of reach, you just need to have endless amounts of patience :) All this talk about def froobs makes me wanna get 60 def straight away, but then I remember it's still 100+ hours of chicken-slaying left.. :/ Not something you can achieve in a mere day :(

You can't hit those after a certain level It worked in rs1, if you used wine your attack level would get lower than 6/7 (can't exactly remember the level) and you would be able to hit the dummies for xp. To get lvl 40 or so attack, you just needed a huge load of wines, and you were good to go ;) I'll try on my woodcutter n00b woong a ji, one of my pk chars got like 200 wines on him still. a few of them are halfs i just checked :thumbsup: Haha, sounds good ;) Add me on Ze Def Froob, just wanna talk about old times (:

You told us to post pics of def pures here; so here's mine: Just got 53 def, and (finally) halfway (xp-wise) to 60 :D Lately been training other skills tho, and trying to earn some cash.. Want most non-combat skills 70+ by the time I hit 60 def :-w

Ye its quite amazing, I'm currently training one myself.. 53 def, but doing some other skills.. To that guy who said it's not really an achievement; it is. Even with 'AFK'-ing at monks, it takes years upon years.. I get 1-1.5 K defense xp an hour when training at chickens, and monks are even slower.. So go get it yourself before critisizing it :/

Well, fair enough that you won't believe me.. But I'll tell how it went so maybe it sounds abit more trustworthy? Probably quite farfetched, but it's true :) Anyways God Of End quit RuneScape, and I was his best RS mate.. So somehow his account gets hacked when he's on vacation in his home country.. He was away for a couple months, and I didn't have a chance to contact him.. Anyways, the hacker started playing on God Of End, and he scammed tons of people on a spree (some people on Tip.It might remember it..), so the hacker managed to get that stuff.. When the real GOE came back I told him what had happened, and managed to get a hold of a jmod, and we managed to sort it out. God Of End didn't play this game at the time anyways, and the only reason for him to get his account back is that he didn't want any hackers to disgrace the name.. So, when he got the account back he managed to get all teh stuff the hacker had scammed from other people, and as a sign of gratitude for me helping, he gave me that stuff up there and quit again the same day.. Keep in mind, Blue phats were ~10 M at the time so it wasn't really that much.. And the easter eggs I sole to Vap137, but doesn't really matter now; I got hacked myself and lost all of it :) Believe it or not, it's true.. ~Gizzern
