  1. Game is cool, but I just had 1 big gripe today. I joined into a game on a team that was losing. Badly. I stepped in and won it for us. By 1 point. If I hadn't come in, the team would have lost, which is why the score chart afterwards pissed me off. I went 17-5. But I came in second. The guy above me had 18-8. Now I know it seems like it makes sense to rank based on score, but I was the real MVP here and this really bugged me.
  2. I was drawn in byt the commerical. Oh no you didn't!
  3. I hate Summer. After Touching Spirit Bear and The Green Mile, there was nothing left to read.
  4. Interesting point.
  5. when I was reading a development diary, it said a mod made plans for a summonin skill in 2003 I belive? Sounds like they ran slightly behind schedule.
  6. That's something I haven't hear before, but it's a very interesting idea! Humanity could actually be a Frankenstein's Monster of God.
  7. All I get is "We're sorry, this video is no longer available." Edit: Tried it again and now the vid works :|
  8. ^ I think you just made a very good point. Can God physically intervene? I don't know, and neither do you. Can God end world hunger, or diseases? I don't know, and neither do you. The list goes on forever. And God doesn't give us a perfect world because it's IMPOSSIBLE. Different people have different views of 'perfect'.
  9. Lol they let them do that but the trojan pig commercial is banned  They banned it? It was on for months and they just let it go for that long?
  10. That would be quaint, even funny maybe, were it not for the fact that it tries to justify the (in)actions of a God who sits by and watches his world burn. In the vast majority of cases of human suffering, there are no state departments sent by God rushing to the aid of people. Instead we have adults and children alike, suffering and often dying alone with absolutely no way out. What do you expect? Sometimes it just isn't possible. A hand is not going to come down from the sky and pull you out of a burning building. And just like people do with the bible, you took my analogy too literally. It isn't limited to fire department, police, and medics. They just fit into the example. Tell that to everyone who died in the September 11th attacks. If I was God, I wouldn't have it a peaceful world. Let's face it, to an omnipresent being that is in control of everything, that's pretty boring. That's like watching a war between hippies, it's boring ;) . Exactly. And btw, MANY more people would have died had it not been for the Fire department.

Lol, I could only understand the first through fifth dimmensions.
  12. I cannot support this. DUI skyrocket, here we come. Prohibition ftw.
  13. Am I the only one who got that picture? I did, but I want to see somebody make a motifake out of that and see how bad it is  Here you go. I think I pretty much summed up the motifake trend.
  14. You didn't know that the pope controlled JFK? That's the scary thing about religion in politics for me. Politicians should be governing for the people, not according to their personal beliefs. Sure, let the churches lobby - they have just as much right to do so as anyone else. But at the end of the day, a politician needs to govern for the people. All people, even the ones who don't share his/her beliefs. Exactly. Because the U.S. is built upon the idea of freedom and diversity. But if almost all of our descisions are based on one religion, we might as well give it all up.
  15. I'm going to try and answer the question of "Why does God let bad things happen?" The answer is, he doesn't do nothing, he just doesn't descend from heaven in a silver chariot to save a kitten in a tree. Take this example. A preacher tries to prove that God is real, by submerging himself in a lake. He says that God will save him from drowning. Before long, the police came to try and help him. The preacher refuses their help, insisting that God will save him. Next, the fire department comes. When they try to rescue the preacher, they get the same answer. Then the paramedics come to save him. Once again, the preacher insists that God will save him. The preacher drowned. When he gets to heaven, he meets God, and asks "Why didn't you save me? I had faith in you!" God replies, "Preacher, I sent the police, the fire department, and the paramedics, and you didn't accept help from any of them."
  16. So what you're saying is, it should become buyable because other skills are buyable?

This game looks cool. This and that 256 player thing make me wish I had a PS3, though I wouldn't trade my 360 for it.
  18. For money making, I would recommend the Duel Arena in the Imperial City. Aslo, this is the ultimate guide to all things elder scrolls. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Main_Page
  19. ^ Asking a question doesn't mean I wanted the answer to be yes.
  20. Even though I agree that they shouldn't be tradeable, I do have one point to make. Is magic not a buyable skill? A few weeks ago, I bought a ton of law runes and an air staff. Went from 41 to 54 mage doing ardougne teleport.
  21. I've been wondering about this for a while and I just wanted to know what TIF thought. Personally, I'm going to say no, for the reasons below. Pros - There would be a great market for charms. It would also give people who don't train summoning a reason to keep charm drops. Cons - Summoning would just become another buyable skill. Many people would ridiculously boost up levels. Since Hill Giants are a great provider of Gold Charms, EVERYONE would start killing them. This could have either a veyr good or very bad effect on the big bones market. Discuss.

Exactly. Killing elites is fun, not so much with the brutes.
  23. Dizzle229 replied to IeatWindex's topic in Off-Topic
Lenin, the Brutes technically had shields, but not shields that you can actually see degrade.
  24. But that's the thing. Church and state are separate. Tbh, the Vatican can say what it wants, they have no real authority in Congress. And pez, why is it that you only post here when someone does this?
