Honestly, I feel this to be a general-discussions value seeing as other topics along the same lines are too (eg; most famous RS person).

Tickets have officially gone on sale to the public now and I think they're limiting the tickets to 1,000 (not sure though). I know people have friends of friends and such so who have you heard that's attending RuneFest? Any popular names? I'm sure Jagex will milk the whole "advertise who's coming" as news-posts as time goes on, maybe even interview (questions like; what are you most excited about?) the more popular people that will be attending the event, try to push their sales so-to-speak. So, as I said above, who have you heard that's going to the event?

It's not about paying 'x' amount for an 'in-game item', well for me it isn't. It's about attending an event that celebrates the game I've played on/off for around 9 years now, I tried to organise an event like this last year but because it was unofficial it failed. I'm sure if Jagex even get 300 people through the door (which they will, quite easily) there will be a 2011 event, the next one I heard will be in USA and UK.

The "re-deem code" will only be valid for 30 days I've heard, then the option will be removed from Diango.

I feel the same way Jaspa (about wanting to know where it is). I don't see why Jagex didn't allow "exclusive 24 hour" sales to be done via them so we don't have to pay the extra TicketMaster prices.

I think the code will be on the ticket itself.

I don't have a mortgage but we do pay rent and have all the same bills as any other couple would that are living together.

I will be buying 2, maybe 3 tickets on Friday. One for myself, one for my partner (knows nothing about RS) and maybe one for my forums as a give-away prize. £150 is nothing, only 2 days at work or so.

I think Jagex will only sell around 500-1,000 tickets. Therefore limiting it so it's not "packed".

RuneScape has probably hit its peak or will hit its peak this year, then there will be 2 more "decent" years of it.

Just stay overnight at a hotel and maybe ask someone to take you/drop you off if they live near you?

I'm going, you can all get my scapeograph then :) They're having a Q+A. You could get things signed (I'll be taking the book). You can play, there will be several PCs/Laptops available for people to play together all hooked up with ear-pieces set up as a LAN I guess. Also, a nice chit-chat with Runescapers.

No, I'd still say Slayer is the slowest skill, once you get to a higher-level in Dungeoneering it's bound to be much faster.

How often do you get a "token" like, how many in an hour, roughly or is it based on skills? (I haven't tried at all yet).

Okay, but still, do you think they were right to release such items or should they have kept the cap at say 80 for now, I mean, people with 99's have always wanted better weapons and armour but is this too much or do you think Jagex have done it just right?

Can you show me where it says that, I can't seem to find it. doesn't have to say that: when you leave the dungeon, all items gotten there disappear from inventory, making the only items you can keep from this skill the ones you get from the reward tokens.. so no primal items outside the dungeon because they are not part of the rewards above ground... :mellow: But if you can only get them from a "monster drop" surely that will make them hard to get and therefore pretty pointless if you cant leave the area with them?

The amount of XP from 93-99 is enough, never mind the XP from 99-120.
