  1. Well, the whole idea was to keep it in his style, mimicing someones style can be a good way to learn how he achieve certain effects, and stuff.. Dw man, *pulls terley back and gives him an icecream* There you go, don't cry anymore.. Please?
  2. Terley, they look nice, but to be honest, they don't really match in style. All the other characters have the same base skincolour, and a totally different skinshade colour, like green, or blue.. They also have square heads, and big eyes. Your first one seemed to be nicely, almost in the same style, cept for th skincolour, but the others just dont match.. They do look good though, no offence ment ;)
  3. oO, freeman, haven't seen him around for quite a while.. Good luck to both teams.
  4. What? 8) It's just a tiny spanish dude.. ... And he has a whip.. so? These little guys are fun to make, and quite a nice exercise (I bet I spelled that wrong) at the same time :P Imma hop off to bed now, eyes are getting a bit sleepy :P
  5. Kind of an alien in a pool theme there huh? What painter version? Painter IX.
  6. Quite odd.. 30 mins, painter+tablet.
  7. I will most likely have a ago soon :D
  8. How about some Bighaired-Shinypants dude?
  9. That may be so nacho, but GS doesn't do it for the rs money, does he..? The pixelworld is quite alot bigger then this little forum, you should keep that in mind.. Nice work god ( ;) ) They're a tad weird, but I like that :P
  10. Nice to see both of you lurking around here :P The link seems dead for me, probably because of the fact its shortened, it doesn't display the full link.. I recently bought painter, along with a tablet, and it works great for me, its quite realistic.
  11. I recognise your name, but I can't really place any work with it.. Lemon, make it more like 3m for premades, if its really top-quality. Custom ones, not competition, could also go above 5m, top quality once again. Competitions go evenr higher, around 10m i'd say.
  12. Cute  Really, nicely done..
  13. Uncleaned, unfinished piece.. Couldn't get the clothing the way I wanted.. Should be a nice cloth-shading practice if you want..
  14. Well, I was recently viewing some graffiti and I quite liked it.. I decided to try my hand at it, started sketching on paper, coloured it, scanned it, manipulated it, and made it into a sig. Its down there V
  15. I not dun anything to do with filters. I dun even know exactly wat they r Filters = effects. You clearly stated you used em..
  16. I guess I could sell itt o you for a measly 4000 dollars? :P I hope I can take it home after my teacher has graded it, it hangs in school right now :P
  17. Thanks :) I've recently begon trying digital painting, not much succes so far, best was the selfportrait I posted some time ago.. I'm trying a full scene now though.. Thanks ryan :)
  18. Thanks guys :) It'll take my teacher a while to grade all of the paintings, 23 students, 23 paintings, plus processdescriptions, yeah.. Gonna take a while.. I want to know my grade though :P The painting itself took around 3 hours to complete.. Lots of preparation, sketches, colour studies etc, have been done before, during the regular drawingclasses.. We actually had 2 days to complete our project in the 'trap', testweek.. One day of 3 hours, and the day after that one 4 hours, to get all our stuff done.. I was done the first day. XD I have to go and gt some painting stuff at home, I really enjoy painting.
  19. Take another good look at my post, you'll notice I already mentioned it ;)
  20. Well, this was a school-assignment, for drawing class. We had to pick from a couple qoutes, a short story, some lyrics or a poem. I chose the following qoute, from Kahlil Gibran, a Dutch qoute. Nog slechts gisteren dacht ik dat ik een fragment was, dat zonder ritme beefde in de levensbol. Maar nu weet ik dat ik zelf de bol ben, en het leven zich roert in mij in ritmische fragmenten. Trasnlated in English: Only just yesterday I thought I was a fragment, which trembled without rithem in the sphere of life. But now I know I am the sphere, and life stirs inside me in rythmic fragments. Probably not translated completely perfect, but good enough for me :P So, I chose this qoute, and started sketching, and eventually made this painting. Acrylics on paperboard (?). The photograph wasn't taken by me, and isnt really doing the painting justice. The colours don't precisely look like they do in real life, but oh well.
  21. My buildings seem so small and tiny.. poo, Ill go make some hude [wagon] one after I get home..
  22. My contribution, twin-buildings.
  23. Thanks :P The fletching one was the last one you saw  That's a while ago.. Latest pixel sig was the one for Boogz, Lil Flip, Boogie, whatever you want to call him :P The guy in green robes, swinging a reinforced club at some defenceless, hurt person :P This one:
