It does indeed :lol: But not to worry, it is hard to think up fitting names for things.. Most of the times its just better to call it brushing01 or something, rather then 'Supernatural swoosh' or something stupid as that :P I like the sig, its good to not see a render in there ;) Im not too sure about the gradient border thingie at the right though.. Text could use some work too. I think it would be best to find a simple, yet nice font to stick onto this piece. Good job, I like it.

Well, Was just pixeling a bit, and kept on going actually :P Only coloured so far, havent started shading yet.. If anyone wants to, go ahead and shade it..You cant sell it though, as I will most likely auction it after I have shaded it, so see it as a practice ;) I might change that weapon too, but I like the look of it so far.. Yay. I was going through a pile of old drawings, and one page happend to be a random-doodle page.. I found this cool little thingie in there :P Its a jellyfeesh. Might be more on the way too, theyre fun to make :P

Looks like the guy broke a leg.. I don't think its possible to turn your leg like that, while still keeping your other leg normal, and without twisting your stomach-area.. Its a nice and dynamic pose though, keep going :)

When I was 5, I burned both of my hands :lol: There was something in the oven, and I was probably wondering what it was.. So I decided to check what was in it, and put both my hands on the window. Not good.

I dont really remember when my last haircut was, but it was bad :P I went to some other place as I would normally go, as it was cheaper.. I'm never doing that again.. Actually, I havent really thought about letting someone cut my hair anymore :P I had long-ish hair, and I said trim it down a bit.. Man, seeing that guy work, I was happy he didnt cut of my ear or something :shock: Right now, my hair is long, and curly at the end, and curly at the back too.. Letting it grow until it looks totally rediculous.. :lol:

Just to jump in on that, how exactly are wallpapers more usefull then sigs? Basicly, its the same. People use them, wether to view on their desktop, or to view them under each and every of their post.. I don't see much difference there.. Although I do agree with you that it isnt good to do only signatures if you really have talent. Exploring is good. Nice discussion you started btw.

Sorry, but eh, would you hold a shield like that? Most likely not.. The shield wouldnt have much of a use holding it like that..

The stuff coming from his shoulderpads is also cloth.. Its part of the cape/cloack he's wearing.. Theres also a bit of cloth around his neck, under the mouth-protector. To comment on your piece: First of all, you need alot more contrast. Also, pick a lightsource, lets say, upperleft corner? Shade according to it. That means shadows will fall at the lower right corner of the things he's wearing. See the things as if they are round, think how they would look like irl, and try to shade them like that. For example, the upperleg-pad thingies, they have the general shape of a cilinder. They go halfway around his legs, so it would be obvious that the parts where the light doesnt reach, its dark. The parts where the light hits it, its very bright, as it is metal. Metal has lots of contrast. Try to do this with every single aprt of the armour. It may take alot of time, but you will improve by doing this.. Thanks for having a go :)

Well, I was sketching a bit this morning, and decided to turn it into a free lineart, so everyone here could practice with it.. Do what you want with it, colour, shade, add on to it, change it, whatever, but dont sell it :P Id love to see some results here..

Only thing I can think of, would be some more contrast. And some depth on the cliff there.. Looks good apart from that. :)

Meh, I was drawing this morning, and it turned into a portrait..Nothing much to say about it.. I need to brush up my drawing skills a bit, as I can do better then this.. I can spot quite a few mistakes right away.. But I decided to post it anyways.. It looks sorta like me.. :shock:

Yes, his ear looks wierd, but it's supposed to be like that :P Oh, and if anybody wants, heres the lineart, go crazy with it..: Another Oh, if anybody likes, make your own version of DementedHero. Pixel how you think a DementedHero should look like..

Sig looks good, but you should work on the background.. Its too empty.. Nice texturing on the sandy hills though.. Also, check out the whip :P its rather..eh.. Thin :lol: Looks more like a bleedy floss-thread to me :lol: For the rest, it looks good, just add some details to that background/sky.

I think that's a digital painting. Made in painter or a similar program. I think they set up the base with vector first, then start brushing.. I'm not too sure about it though, I've never tried it..

Woot its froth :D Good to see you pop in here once in a while :) The painting is nice, first thing that came to me, was the hand. It looks a bit scary.. I think its because of the paleness and the shadowing arund the nails. I think she could use a bit rounder back, at our left side, the back of the shoulder. It looks like its chopped off a bit. Rest of the painting looks very good. I love the hair and the face, good job man :)
