  1. As said before that does look amazing. The detail of the water and the sky looks very well done. And the colours are very nice as well. Though I'll agree with LB and Laxaria that you should smooth out the sails and add the boats reflection in the water. Other than that it looks fantastic. Nice job
  2. Your mum uses a Mac? =; Heh, I'll download this eventually.
  3. With colour I meant an overall colour scheme.
  4. +1 All of these are great. The composition, focus and the overall quality of the photos are absolutely superb. The cat picture LB mentioned however... The colours are amazing and the focus is great too. As well as the moment you captured which LB pointed out already. You're an amazing photographer, there's no denying that. Keep up the good work =D> Your cat is mine
  5. Wow. This is really coming along nicely. I like the new ideas you're adding and the whole concept of this game. Good luck with completing it (and improving it) because it looks really nice so far. I'm not interested in a job in helping you though but keep up the good work
  6. Good concept. It's not the most original though (I've seen it many times before). But you managed to pull it off and it looks pretty well done. Try doing it in multiple colours like a rainbow. I'd like to see how that turns out. Just an idea though. Keep up the good work
  7. From what I can see: [hide=List of negatives]Black background C4D used poorly Render slapped in the middle Awfully placed text No colour No concept or composition Lack of effects Lack of appeal[/hide] The C4D looks like it was placed there for the hell of having a C4D in there. Something about the render looks "wrong". I don't know maybe the positioning or the size of it just doesn't work for me. Hmm, text. Font wasn't a very wise selection nor was the colour of it. Where's the colour? There's no flow and a lack of effects. Experiment and try something new. I'd suggest reading tutorials to get you more familar with GIMP's capabilities. It is comparable to Photoshop, afterall. Also your signatures just have a lack of appeal. Nothing really makes you go "Wow, that looks amazing". Just keep working on it. If I recall you're new to GIMP? I hope I didn't discourage you, I seem to be harsh a lot but it seems like it's the only way to get the point across.
  8. Agreed. Those are awesome animations but where's the discussion value in this? Are you saying you'd like to see people making animations? I'd agree with that in the sense that I'd like to see people trying out different things (Including myself). Uhh...What? :-s
  9. I made one [cabbage] signature with it. Does that count?
  10. I voted for you :D Regardless of whether you win or or not, making it into the top 20 is an outstanding achievement and I congratulate you on that =D> Even if you did get the whole Gallery to vote.. :-#
  11. Looks great :D Can't wait to see the finished product. Keep up the good work
  12. +1 :twss: It's very good. 1 and 2 are the best although I like 4 as well.
  13. I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack :twss: Well, sorta. I need to practise a bit then I'll start making some of these
  14. I have that same keyboard. And for the same price too :o I don't know much about keyboard and mice so I can't really help you. I just have basic black mouse/keyboard made by logitech.
  15. Voted for ya. Good luck it's a very nice photo
  16. I might be getting back into PS soon. I dunno yet
  17. Voted for ya. Good luck and keep up the good work
  18. +1 Hurry up and order already. 8 pages and counting -.-
  19. MSY Cheapest prices. I don't have any experience with them but they're queues are meant to be huge and their customer service is rather bad apparently. CentreCom I have had great experience with these guys. They're a little more expensive but they have great service, IMO. Scropion Tech No experience with them but I've heard from friends that they're pretty decent. PcCaseGear They only deliver now and I haven't had any experience with them. Those are the major 4 that I can think of off the top of my head. Though it depends on where abouts he lives. EDIT: There's also ITEstate and Umart but I don't know much about those.
  20. Don't let them discourage you. Keep trying and if you post here and get some CONSTRUCTIVE criticism you'll improve
  21. What did I post wrong? Feel free to correct me. Is it the fact that I don't want him to get ripped off by Dell? EDIT: Actually. Now that I re-read what Nadril & Sloter said I think you should go and buy a Dell. You're SO concerned about having that extra boost that you had to make comparison tables. Okay, it was alright when you made the first one, but then when you made it for every other part you were a bit. No that's an understatement, you were WAY too paranoid.
  22. ^ Aww guys, why'd you warn him? I wanted to see pics of a blown-up 1k+ Rig :P Only joking. But seriously guys, he could just pay a build fee or get someone more experienced to help him. Though I have to agree this thread is going overboard. He could've just bought the parts from a list recommended a long time ago and could've cut this topic down a lot. Edited cause apparently something was wrong with my reply...
  23. Are you on a budget with the Power Supply because I've mentioned the Corsair 520HX several times :P Anything by seasonic, IMO. Although it's more expensive. The Antec NeoPower's 500W+ are very good and modular. But according to Customer Reviews, they're terrible :| Strange because on another forum I frequently visit (An Australian tech forum) everyone recommends them and I know people with them. Oh well, up to you. Get what you want, IMO. If the reviews look good, go ahead and get it. Good luck with ya build :D
