Jopie is a girl. (Or maybe you're just using it as "that" expression). Anyways, well done on the signature. Definitely a huge improvement. A bit messy with the C4D's, but it's still not bad. As Jopie said, the text is quite awful. Make the size smaller. Text can also be used to add flow or go with flow. In this case there is no "real" flow. And if all else fails, just go with a simple Arial font. Also, what program are you using? GIMP or PhotoShop? Keep practicing :

Well, Jopie covered the C/C very well. So I won't really worry about that. I think the biggest concern for you is the colours you use, and your text choice and placement. I myself, am terrible at text :wall: Onto the brushes thing. Have you used C4D's in any of your signatures? (Forgive me for not checking your gallery). I see you have used fractals, but nowhere to their full potential. With C4D's there is really no "proper" place to put them. But try using them in a different way. Perhaps creating flow, smudging them for colour, etc. You don't have to just leave the C4D as it is though. You can add filters for it (rippling as an example. Not sure what it is in GIMP. Probably the same thing). And if you have used C4D's, maybe you should use them more often. There are loads of ways of adding effects to signatures. Adding in a stock (If it fits, of course), smduging, using C4D's. I could go on and on and wouldn't be able to cover all the things you could use. Also, how do you colour your sigs? Do you use a gradient map, photo filters, or a colour balance? Hope this made some sense. And keep practicing.

Much better (the first one). Well done. I don't have any real C/C for the other one. I agree with Uno that you have done better. ^ Uhh, isn't that what signatures are mainly based on. An image of some sort with effects? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I wasn't sure how to create that depth. I might try again later if I feel like it.

Read my previous post. I used a curves layer and I don't think I'm going to change anything.

First of all, no you can't use your avatar on these forums. The only reason I can think of is because it is slightly too big (in filesize no dimensions). The limit is 100x100x8 KB. Your wallpapers aren't very good. I would have to say that the first one is the best. The other two are just pictures with text basically. Onto the signatures: 1. Blending options on text is a no no as far as I'm concerned. Blending options on that type of image is as well. And the image seems to be poorly rendered (the wheels mainly). Splatter brushes over a render is a no no unless you're trying to blend the render, if you were, you failed. The colours are green and red, which don't go together and reminds me of Christmas. You really won't want that in a signature. 2. RuneScape images in signatures 99.9% look bad. The text is just awful and the colours and splatter brush looks just as bad. The two Dragon Woodcutting Axes set on a lower opacity I assume, just look awful. 3. Basically the same as above. The text is awful and the images don't go well with it. And not just because they're RuneScape. Also the colours don't go well together in this signature. In a lot of signatures for that matter. 4. Again, basically the same thing. The text is terrible and the RS renders don't go well with it ONCE again. See what I mean by 99.9% of them not going well with signatures? The background is better than the last three but the colours don't go well IMO. 5. Probably your best. Again, your text doesn't suit it. But the colours are at least better IMO. You've used a couple of fractals that IMO don't go well with that render. Overall, I'd give it 3/10. Sorry but you really could do better. http://www.deviantart.com is your friend. Read some tutorials, download some brushes, and work on your text! I know how difficult text can be sometimes. But remember, just because it has all these fancy effects on it, doesn't necessarily mean it looks good. As for the poster it's one of your better pieces. Keep practicing and don't let any of mine or anybody else criticism upset you. It's there to help you, not hurt you. EDIT: Lol, Jopie basically said what I said in her last paragraph.

Well, Jopie. I agree it does lack contrast and is a bit boring. But I really can't comprehend how it is hard to make out the shapes. Thanks for the comments.

It might have been for Photo of the Month. In that case, I'm not sure. On Topic: It's not bad. We all know you've done better. I think you could make the motorcycle stand out a bit more. And you might as well try some for C4D's. If you can find one that suits it, that would help immensely. Overall, nice job. But you've done better :)

So I was bored and hadn't made anything in a while so I decided to mess around in PhotoShop. This was the result. Looks really nice. Well done :thumbsup: The only MAJOR thing I can see wrong with it is that the area that I have outlined, a clipping mask, I assume. Looks a bit choppy IMO. (The arrow points to the area, not the bit I was commenting on below.) If you look at the bottom part of it, it stands out too much. Just my opinion. Overall, nice job :D

Description: I would basically like a cow standing under a tree taking shade from the blazing sun. I would like it to be eating some grass or have a mouthful of grass in its mouth.
