Seriously, I'm going to kill you if you keep using those 2/3/4/5 px black "chunky" borders. If nothing really fits just use a 1 px black one. Don't have no border, that's for nub PR people :P :lol: The effects aren't too good IMO. The "Fluid" part around her neck looks pretty good but the wireframe or whatever it is isn't used to its full extent. The text is pretty awful, sorry. It took me about 10 seconds to decipher what it said. And if I hadn't known who made it, it would have taken even longer. I'm not sure where a better place for the text would be. But I would have liked to see some C4D's and good use of them in this signature. However the blending is decent. If you want a rating, I'll give it a 5/10.

Thru/Jason style on the borders..? :| I thought this one was quite good to be honest. I'm not sure about the colours, text and border. But other than that, it looks pretty good. The text really isn't that bad IMO. But it's more of a personal preference. A 1 px white or black border would have done just fine TBH. The effects aren't that bad either. Overall, nicely done :thumbsup:

Are you making excuses just because they didn't like them as much as you? C/C: #1 Text is horrible, there are too many brushes and they don't create any flow. Brushing over focal point's face? :? Blue and white is a bit boring but it doesn't look toobad. #2 Meh.. Horrible text and pretty bad effects. Those brushes look bad as well as the smudging behind the focal. And I don't like that stuff on the left side near the text. Your worst. #3 One of your best, if not the best. I'd get rid of the scanlines because that is really killing the focal point. I also would have resized the focal because it takes up around 60% of the signature leaving you not much room for effects. Text is a SLIGHT and very slight, improvement. Needs to be smaller though. Other than that it isn't too bad. I'm Not making excuses, i'm explaining because I didn't upload in the right order. You hardly gave any C/C and your post gives me no help at all. YOU'RE HARDLY IN THE GALLERY AT ALL I'll be more specific, just for you. Since you're missing the point. #1 The text is horrible. Yes, horrible. There are too many brushes there which cause the signature to become too "chaotic". There is absolutely no flow at all and no blending. You don't brush over your focal point's face. What more do I have to say about that? I also said that the colour scheme was boring but it didn't look too bad. If you want a rating, fine. 5/10. #2 The text once again is horrible. The white brushes look awful amidst the rest of the signatures poor "effects". That motion blur or gradient doesn't suit it. Those scanlines or whatever they are to the left don't match either. The smudging behind the render doesn't look good and is rushed and messy. 3/10 #3 This one's not bad. The text is a small improvement but needs to be smaller. The focal is far too large and needs to be resized as it takes up 60%+ of the signature. The scanlines aren't that bad but you should erase them over the focal. The colour scheme is bland and the smudging isn't that well done, but it isn't that bad. 4/10 So how can you improve? I'll just cover a few points. Text You need to work on your text, that remains obvious. Try and place the text in line with your flow. For example, if you have some diagonal flow place the text along there. You can also experiment with different colours and sizes of text. I'll show you an example of one of the rare times where I've actually placed decent text. [hide=Example I][/hide] See how the text flows along with one of the C4D's? And it has some of the pink from the signature in the text. That is an example of decent text IMO. Colours You need to work on your colours. How do you colour? You should be using gradient maps and maybe a few photo filters. I'd suggest reading THIS If that doesn't "help" you, I don't know what will. You also could try reading some more tutorials on DeviantArt
