I think the only possibility is to get a guthix prayer book, since there are no other cheap off hands giving a ranged bonus that I know off.

I've learned 150 people will stand on the same campfire simultaneously if you offer them a paper hat.

In my opinion, There are more than enough skills already. I would much prefer time being spend on developing those thoroughly.
