Got to Major now. :thumbsup: I kind of regretting buying the EVA helmet, but oh well. When I get the gold visor it will look pretty nice I think.

I exited this one building, and I was apparently Ambushed by 3 old women with rolling pins. I love the Wild Wasteland perk. I'm a bit sad through I have to give it back to my friend. :cry:

I don't know why, but the layout of tempest makes me think of Backwash for some reason, mostly the structure over Blue Base. Might be the shape of the map. The Blue beam over the structures too makes me think of the cables of Backwash, excluding that one structure in the center.

Make a Hoe or Fishing Rod. Find a source of water and gather fish. Alternatively, you could use the hoe to dig at grass, randomly yielding seeds. Planting the seeds and over time it grows into wheat. Make the wheat into bread, or cook the fish. Both are decent food sources. When Notch adds in a sort of hardcore survival mode, like the need to drink or eat; those will probably be really important.

It will attack you if you get very close to it (4 blocks) -Bear spawns in the grass during daytime. It will attack you only if provoked. -Wolf spawns during the night time (only in grass). It will attack you at night, and won't attack unless provoked during the day.

I found a cure. The MCPatcher has an alternative client in a sense, I just remembered. I have used it for about an hour now and it hasn't crashed. Thanks for reminding me. I am unsure why the Minecraft[Caution: Executable File] crashes through, but not that.

I know there is a mod for leaves, sadly it seems to not agree with the biome mod (for me at least.) and it crashes when I start the world. They work separately through. About the Biome trees, I'll ask Notch about it to see if he plans for anything like that.

I reverted to an older version for that to fix the leaves, I'll see if 1.2.2 works any better. It should hopefully. I could wait until 1.2.3 tomorrow, either way I hope they work.

I made some tools, went to my spawn and planned on building a base on a hill. I almost fell into this. [hide] [/hide] I hear a bunch of skeletons, 2 of them peeked out and tried shooting at me. I think there is a spawner down there.

Didn't do much sadly. I guess I could stick with the browser, I remember for my first week of Minecraft I used the client, even with the crashes. Will keep attempting. It also does it without the mods, actually even more for some reason.

I will reinstall Java to see if that helps anything. It was one version behind it seems.

I am facing a problem, anytime I use the downloaded version of Minecraft I can use it for a while, but sometimes in randomly crashes. Actually, almost always in about 10 minutes or so. I can use the browser version fine. I have deleted the Jar, reinstalled, downloaded a new exe but they don't work. It has happened to me ever since I got Minecraft, but I need to use the client in order to use mods. Any suggestions?

Biome trees prove very useful. Dodging skeletons at night in between pine trees scared of my wits trying to find my base is fun.

I spat out my drink while watching it, I need to try this with some friends.

When PVP comes I hope the server I regularly go to allows it. Also is there any word about the portal to another server thing? That concept could be pretty amazing. I know Notch will implement it but I hope soon. :thumbup:

Night came, and my Creeper phobia has went up. There are 7 in the picture. 10 in total, 3 of them are hidden behind the hill. FML. I hope I can make the night, they come in numbers...

Actually the shaft was more to say a decorative shaft, I was planning to eventually add a lava pit at the bottom, forgot to cover it with glass. <_< EDIT: Started a new save, found this withen minutes. Biggest amount of pumpkins I've found at once. Also, this was moments before a skeleton which survived the day hiding in a cave came out and surprised me. Gave me a freight. It died and I collected the pumpkins.

I died on one of my saves, I lost all my stuff from a lava pit. I headed after the incident to my last base which was far from my spawn, I collected some tools from my base near spawn. I got back and went down into the basement to get some supplies. I didn't notice the Creeper in there. I had a shaft in it heading down to the bed rock. Hearing the sizzle and then the Boom, and then plummeting to the very bottom. Next time I will close my doors.
