  1. This should be interesting. I'll try it. Also, I think it would funny if we made a giant train of people walking from Port Phasmatys to Castle Wars.
  2. People (even higher combat levels than me) like to follow me in Varrock asking for food. I have no idea why -- I'm only level 62, not exactly a legendary player. I guess some people are too lazy to go fishing.
  3. Update: Finally finished the quest this morning (took a while), and have been mining the gem rocks a bit. It's going pretty quick in terms of levelling, but I'm world-hopping a lot to try to be there alone or with only 1 other person. So it was good advice! Whita89, to craft gold jewellry, smith gold bars, then, with a ring, amulet or necklace mould in your inventory, use the gold bar on a furnace and select the item you want to craft from the menu.
  4. Does anyone take time to appreciate the music of RS? I don't know if this is weird or anything, but I actually enjoy some of the melodies better than others. Also, I'm wondering if anyone knows who composes all of the music -- it's really well-done (I do some composition for fun).
  5. Thanks for the tips, and I forgot to mention I'm P2P. I think I'll take a shot at Shilo Village to benefit from gem rocks. Thanks everyone!
  6. At the end of the barcrawl, if you try to examine the card, it says that's you're too drunk to read it. And when you present it to the guy who wanted you to complete it, you suddenly start talking all drunk again.
  7. I am from: Canada And I currently live in: Canada Additional Comments: I'm an anglophone Quebecer. So according to the separatists here, I live in the nation of Quebec. Just kidding.
  8. Hi, I currently have level 43 crafting and I'm trying to figure out the most efficient way to raise it to 50. Since there are so many different ways to level it up, which would be the best?
  9. I finished Underground Pass today, finally. It wasn't the demons that hurt me much, it was the fact that I fell off the platform maze about 10 million times. :x
  10. I found The Feud really enjoyable, with all of the blackjacking and spying involved in it. Tourist Trap was also fun.
  11. Interesting guide. Once comment though. I've tried playing CW a bit, but I'm lower level than most players (combat 53). It seems that all of these tactics are for much higher-level players. Obviously, I know that by raising my combat I'll be able to compete better, but that doesn't mean that I shouldn't play CW until level 90. And I wouldn't raise my combat level solely for CW. Would you have any advice for lower levels who want to actually do something useful in a CW game instead of getting called stupid noobs? Because in theory, the game is for everyone, and I'd like to know if it's even possible for a lower combat level to play once in a while. (I don't want to get flamed by comments like "get better combat noob", because, well, I'm working on that, but like I said, you shouldn't have to be level 80 or up to enjoy the game)
  12. I think mining is fine the way it is; it's not as easy as woodcutting let's say, but if it was, then it would be just like woodcutting and not original. As for the original idea of this post, it doesn't really work out for the same reasons that have been mentioned.
  13. Just yesterday (I'm lvl 44) I was doing the part of the Fremennik trials quest where you have to hunt and kill the ghost thingy. While I was fighting it, a level 50 player walked by and started going 'come on noob! You can kill him! Noob'. I asked him to cut it out; unsurprisingly, he mocked me. So I put him on ignore and start walking away; he starts following me, which made me decide to log off. I logged on a minute later, took him off ignore, and got a PM from him calling me a stupid gay noob. How...revolting.
  14. No, I've had that; I had to talk to an NPC at the top for the clue.
