My thoughts are that they are probably going to bring both back regardless of the votes. Usually when Jagex releases their ideas to the public it is always followed by the release of it. The vote was probably up though in order to secretly break another world record.

Actually, in terms of coding, there are no random attributes. To the human mind it may seem so, but in fact a random generator is an algorithm of algorithm's picking certain numbers. To the computer this is not random at all and completely predictable, but to a person, it's the same concept of a cartoon. The cartoon never moves, you're just tricked into thinking it does. You're tricked into thinking you got lucky, when the coding was already determined awhile ago.

I can run games and that stuff all fine on my computer too, yet RS lags. I think a big contributor to it lagging is the fact that it's internet based, where as your games are PC games, which have the files on your computer already.

What system? I'm going to assume the 360 considering the only other release it was on I believe was Microsoft Windows games. I would say turn your 360 off and just try doing the update again. It's rare, but the 360 can get in a rut while downloading an update.

Hypercam and Camstudio are both free and pretty good. :)
