I would actually like to buy some music, support the artists that I really like. I'm thinking of buying Renard's new EP that comes out Friday, and Julia Nunes's new album that comes out eventually, particularly because they're both independent. But I dunno.

So, today, I found out that Coldplay, Snow Patrol, and the Fratellis are all considered indie bands. Also, they are hated in the U.K. in the same way that Lady Gaga is hated in America. Huh. I wouldn't consider them indie bands, but that's just me.

The older you grow the less sleep you require. When you hit 70, you can go by with 4 hours easily. It only gets lower when you get pretty old. Up until you're in your 60s/70s, you still need that 7-8 hours. What? I averaged 5-6 in high school and doing easily as much now, if not a little less. I'm not saying you can't live with less, but it's better for you if you don't.

DYK, high schoolers actually need 9-10 hours of sleep to operate at optimal efficiency, as opposed to 7-8 for adults?
