Speaking of headphones, the plug on mine has been broken for a few weeks now. I finally got around to looking up how to fix it. Went to this video: And got all the stuff together. Looked in the comments, and saw: I tried it and it worked. It's pretty nice.

Good book actually. Definitely the best book out of all the ones I was forced to read and analyze for English. Protip: Gatsby's a pirate.

People who [bleep] about easy [cabbage] in (relatively) hard classes. I swear, the kids in my Physics class are going to ruin this class for me. I'm just like, "Why did you take this class if you didn't want any work? This is supposed to be one of the harder classes at Kearney High."

Then tell a few jokes. Keep your overall tone serious, but make it obvious you're having fun. Then you can think, "They don't care, why should I?" while also having your audience (Or at least yourself) laugh a little. That's probably the biggest piece of advice I can give someone. That and look people in the eyes. Both will make you a lot less nervous. A lot.

I've been on the speech team at school throughout high school, plus quite a bit in middle school English, and I still get stage fright. I can't use scripts, because my hand shakes really badly, to the point where it looks like I'm terrified. It's pretty nice. I actually don't feel I've gotten better because of speech, but whatever. I can suck it up and deal.
