English is one of the harder languages to learn as a second language, simply because it does a nice job of not following it's own rules. I wouldn't say I'm used to being lazy, especially when it comes to learning a language. I've taken three years of high school French. If you're around me too much, you'll hear me just break out into the language just to practice. I play video games in French if it's not too centered on story line. But yet, I still wish I were better at it. Mon francais est tres terrible, vraiment, et je deteste ca. Believe it or not, it takes more than "go train and stop eating like a pig." to have a "'perfect bod'" It's not unreasonable to want one, or to want to have the motivation to get one. Who are you to judge? Studying isn't enough for a lot of people. My best friend fails tests, whole classes even, while I pass with ease, despite the fact that I just [bleep] around 90% of the time and he studies his ass off. "Just study" isn't particularly good advice. Besides, you're very much born with abilities and predispositions. I was born with an ability to do math, but no ability to draw. So, why can't I wish for that ability? Why can't I want that ability. tl;dr: I fed the troll.

I would be about the same, but I would be able to draw and sing. Those are probably the things I want to be able to do most, but can't, and can't really learn. I mean, I could technically learn how to draw, but it's really frustrating. I can't stand putting hours upon hours of work into something that looks crappy compared to someone else's work that they put half the time into.
