And it wasn't fake. I don't even know why I'm defending myself if I got the kill. BTW: I quit RS and gave all my things away to my friend 3 days after the pking update.

For the record, it was a legit pk. I'll retell the story. I was fishing for level 63 fishing, for a clue scroll, when a mage in full black mystic walked up and asked if I wanted to go pking. I figured he was going to lure me, and I put on some inexpensive armour. -Full black d hide, coif, cape, rune c bow. I equipped ruby tipped (e) bolts, since I used to duel some. So we went into the wild, level 1, I figured it was a lure so I was ready to die. A level 68 or so attacked him, nearly killing him, I figured he had food, so I hit him when he was low hp and BOOM, 18, dead mage. The other guy got the kill, he had a dds and a granite shield. He ran in and out while I was pecking him with shots. I hit him a few times, and BOOM 18, dead person. I grabbed what he had grabbed, which had included 7k or so natures. I waited for the other guy's stuff to spawn, I grabbed it all before anybody could really see. I was freaking out and showed my friend, when I was safe (at the bank) and he told me to take a screenshot, I did, I posted it here shortly after. Now why would I make that up... to impress a bunch of people who really don't care one way or the other? Now that I think about it, I don't see the point in posting such kills if all you are just going to say it's fake. I was level 69 at the time, with 75 ranged. The mage was level 68.

Power amulet is effective for mage... just don't wear all that other useless junk. You won't carry ALL of them, because you CAN'T wear all of them at once. And why carry more than one if you can only wear one set at once? And tinderboxes are in the WOM's house. I'm not complaining about that. I'm complaining that with all the items I use most of the time, they can't all fit. If you want more bank space, it shouldn't be because you don't want to have to drop your random event clothing. So they make more money off of memberships than ads, meaning F2P players really aren't a great source of income. Here's something to think about and why we should get at least something. Members, let alone the whole game, could not survive without F2P. It's impossible. I know for a fact that almost everyone played F2P for a bit before they decided to go to members. The massive slowdown of new people into the game would slow down, because really would you want to pay $5 for a Java-based game you had never played before? Also, regardless of whatever you may say, the economy is dependent upon F2P. Who usually buys the stuff from a F2P'er like yews? Most of the time it's a member because any F2P'er knows there isn't much you can do with raw materials, especially regarding logs. Also members are paying for there time on the game. I know that there are pure P2P skillers, but really how many out of the whole population is like that. I'd guess a tiny amount. That's because you have to make the time in your game worth it. Also what is so bad about us getting a small amount of space. Knowing Jagex, if they ever give bankspace to F2P, it will be to ALL players, meaning members would get extra space as well. On top of that they might even get more than what F2P would get. You do realise I made an arguement and you still haven't responded to it, so I'd advise you justify that one before you try to defend yourselves with things that are 1 post.

If Jagex ever brings back staking to what it used to be, just stick to defense and attack and you can be a potential staker. You can't pk. Your stats aren't that great.

In your example, one could walk into the Wise Old Man's house and take a tinderbox from the shelf. But the basic point is plenty valid. Whoops totally forgot about that one, but you get the point I'm trying to make. You should realise that every f2p city, EXCEPT draynor have general stores in them with the items you want. And I walked to lumbridge. It takes just under 2 minutes. Don't tell me it takes 10 MINUTES to get to the nearest general store. Especially when you also have a free teleport there. Here are some tips to help free your bank. Well, let's get one thing straight. Your not paying money to play this game. Why should they give you more things when your not paying? This won't encourage to you become members. Second, that random thing sounds like a cool idea... BUT; whats the fun in that? If you lose one of your random items, oh ok! Let's go get another one! It kidna loses the value of "Random" event. And if this would happen, it would lose it's value. Who really wants a random event item once everybody is wearing them everywhere. Because in the wilderness, everybody will wear them (not everybody, but %50 of them (Pures)), and it won't provide any risk. Risk makes this game fun. If you lose your item, what does that tell you? Maybe you should have been more careful hmmm? (Example from today) "I lost my camo hat while mining iron, and a rock golem attacked me. This is !@#$." Maybe you should've been wearing rune or armour to protect you from it? Moving on, You don't need all that space in your bank, and there is no way you can be doing everything at once. No, you don't need bank space for all your ores, bars, runes, arrows, random event clothing, holiday items, AND armour. I doubt you can use all of them at once ;P A hint to that, you can carry the amount of runes you plan on using, then maybe sell off the rest? If your going to do some high alchemy, buy a few natures, use what you can, then sell them back. If you want more, go buy some more. You don't need to carry nature runes... and cosmics... and chaos... and death... and mind... and body... and all the other f2p runes in your bank at once. Same thing with ores/bars. Keep a few of the kind you need, such as steel in most cases, and smith the rest when you get them so that you conserve even MORE bankspace. With holiday items, you can literally drop them and go get them from diango at draynor village. Is it worth the walk, or would you rather not have enough space for those precious gems? You don't need 1 of each amulet, in fact, if you want a general amulet, grab a power amulet. So let's recap. Ok, so you have the following bank spaces for each category 7 for runes (Laws, Airs, Fires, Minds, Deaths Natures and Ess More than enough) 11 for armour (Full rune + Scimitar and Rune 2h = 6, 3 for ranged, 2 for magic armour) 4 for fishing (Feathers, Rod, and the 2 fish MAX) 6 for mining/crafting (Pickaxe, Gems, Ore(s), Bars) 2 for wcing (Axe, Logs) 3 for arrows (Bronze for training, Adamant for pking and a bow) 10 for random events (Assuming your a random junkie) That's 47 spaces. You have 60 spaces. That means you have 13 spaces left over for whatever skill your using. Lets assume you also have these "MUST HAVES" in your bank Spectres A ring (If you even need one, they're useless in f2p) 2 Talismans 2 Amulets 2 for your cape and boots :o 4 spaces for your new trimmed armour! 1 for your gold (of course) Ok, now your full. (Omg!!) But what else would you REALLY need? And do you REALLY need all these items at the same time? (Please respond to THIS, if anything.) :boohoo: "I need space for my feathers, AND my bait, AND my lobster pot, AND my other fishing tools. Noob." I'm sorry but... If you enter the wilderness, even just to rc, you are OBVIOUSLY risking your items. If somebody sees that your entering the wilderness, with these items, why not kill you for them? :o If somebody else sees that these pkers are weak, why not kill them for not only their items, but the original rcers items as well?
