Dice game
Haha wow. I decided to try this game after seeing this thread, and what do you know, I ended playing with you (I didn't see the videos beforehand so I didn't realize it was you, and you're the first person I saw in W1 today and looked pretty legit, so I went in. Kinda cool). Few words of advice: Do not play this game if you don't have STRONG DISCIPLINE. In the end, I lost all my cash to you :P (Only 34m, but still...). I hope you spend that money more wisely than I did. It's crazy because I went in fully thinking that I was going to bet 100k and double each time until I won, then back down to 100k again (guarantee profit as long as you don't lose it all before you win one). But I let my emotions get the best of me - and it ended up costing me... Although I have to say, I must be the unluckiest person in Runescape. I played 17 times and only won 3 (maybe 4 cant remember) of those. At least I got some experience and know the consequences. If I was to ever play again, I would definitely stick to my plan and play conservatively now that I know how quickly things can change. So as of now, no more dice game :P I sold some stuff in my bank I wasn't using, so now I have 3m. I'm trying to flip some stuff with it while farming to make some of it back, though it's slow going (not much of a merchanter anyway)....Dang.

Guitar Hero/Rock Band Discussion thread
The series really went downhill, I thought, and became too repetitive. The best were the first two GH's. I'm surprised it took them this long to stop, honestly. I can't comment on RB because I've never played it, so I don't know much about that series and if it would too die off...

Super Bowl XLV
Charles Woodson and Donald Driver are class acts and well deserving of the championship :) Too bad they couldn't play the whole game. Maybe next year though :P (assuming there's a season) Also, my voice went hoarse from cheering yesterday. It's a shame that I have to miss the party in Wisconsin. I heard from friends and family that schools were closed today. Oh well. I'm just glad they finally won :D I wasn't old enough to care about the packers when they won SBXXXI. So, this was awesome

Yellowstone's Super Volcano takes a "Deep Breath"
Pretty much this (though maybe not the million years). I read that this supervolcano has been erupting fairly regularly every 600,000 years. It's been 640,000 years. But the magma is still 10km from the surface according to reports, so we should be pretty safe for the time being (hopefully). However, I am extremely curious to see what happens when it does erupt and explode, despite me living here in the US (though out of the ring of mass destruction). I think it would be cool to see the effects, so in a way, I do want to see it go off in my lifetime (maybe when I'm 80 or something)....... Does that make me a bad person? D:

2010/2011 Movies discussion
Well, I may not have the best taste in movies, but by skimming that list, these are the few that have some of my attention: The Mechanic (coming out tomorrow. Neat)UnknownThe Adjustment Bureau (Maybe)Pirates of the Caribbean 4 (Idk how it will work, but we'll see if it's any good)Hangover 2 (Hopefully they have some fresh ideas)Cars 2 (Maybe; wasn't that big of a fan of Cars, but Pixar rarely does wrong)Transformers 3 (:anxious:)Harry Potter 7 Part 2 (YAY!)Cowboys and AliensMission Impossible 4Sherlock Holmes 2So, maybe not that many, but that's before I know much about the other titles/see previews/read reviews. Plus, Harry Potter will be life-changing :P so that alone makes this year awesome.

2010/2011 Movies discussion
That's reassuring :D I figured that maybe the whole movie just plain sucked after seeing some of the hate it was getting. I do like Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie, and I figured how could you possibly screw up a movie with them as the leads in a beautiful European setting.

2010/2011 Movies discussion
Well, since I'm bored, I'll go through the 2010 movies I saw this past year. Inception - Amazing. Exceeded its hype and was the best movie of the year to me.Toy Story 3 - YES!! Finally, after all these years, I got to watch the conclusion of the Toy Story series and sure enough, it did not disappoint. I'd say it's my favorite toy story of them all. I have grown pretty close to Toy Story that I almost even shed a tear at the end.Shutter Island - Looked pretty awesome; was pretty awesome. Left me guessing and wanting to see it again.Scott Pilgrim Vs the World - So awesome. Had some cheesy one liners, but overall, I was completely satisfied. The Todd Ingram and Lucas Lee scenes were the best.Iron Man 2 - Pretty awesome, though not as good as the first.Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - It has really grown on me. The first time I saw it, I was disappointed by it due to the lack of action scenes. But after seeing it again, I realize that the movie doesn't even need the action because the chemistry feels so real. I love the Harry Potter movies. Right now, it's probably my 4th favorite (in a close race) HP.Salt - Pretty fun movie with some crazy actionKnight and Day - Same as Salt, mixed with some humor. I'm a sucker for M:I movies, which is the vibe I had for this going in:PPrince of Persia - Saw this at the outdoors. It was alright. I didn't go into it with high expectations, so it didn't disappoint in that regard.Book of Eli - Again, it was alright. I was expecting better (I usually like Denzel Washinton)Unstoppable - Now this was great. Edge-of-your-seat intensity. Denzel Washington, Chris Pine, yesPercy Jackson and the Lightning Thief - Really cheesy, and I thought it could have been much better :/The Expendables - The scene with Arnold, Willis, and Sly made the movie for me. Otherwise, pretty cheesy, but fun.Red - Didn't understand the plot... at all. Maybe I was brain-dead that day...Wall Street 2 - Was enjoyable. I didn't see the first prior to this, and had to ask my dad a lot of questions due to my lack of knowledge in the stock market (right now). The American - Was alright, though a bit boring.True Grit - One of the best movies I saw this year. I saw both the original and this in the same day, and have to admit, this version is much better. The Other Guys - Meh. It was alright, though most of the best jokes were already in the previewsDespicable Me - Alright, though it pales in comparison to some of the other animated works, especially PixarSocial Network - Pretty cool, though a bit....weird.Green Zone - Decent movie. I like Matt Damon and the Bourne trilogy, though it wasn't as good as those.Date Night (Forgot about this one) - Pretty darn funny if you ask me :D I still really want to see 127 hours, Alice in Wonderland, How to Train Your Dragon, Tron: Legacy, and Narnia (possibly The Tourist too, but it got some bad reviews..might be a rental instead)

Call of Duty 7: Black OPs
http://www.vg247.com...ck-ops-servers/ Ouch. I don't understand how they could do that as it would tick off so many people. If it turns out to be true (seems a bit far-fetched but who knows), I'm sorry for all the PS3 only users. I'm glad I got the 360 version in the end instead. Either way, Activision

Call of Duty 7: Black OPs
This. I rage even harder than a Chopper Gunner/Ac130 in MW2. It's just so stupid and cheap. Although I read that using flak jacket can somewhat counter it depending on how smart your opponent is. As long as he doesn't detonate right under you, you're golden (apparently). I just created a flak jacket class to try it out (though losing ghost pro makes me sad, but whatever).

How fast is yours?

Wilderness and free trade vote! - Now Closed
You liked it when people were scamming other players? Back then, there were cheaters, scammers, lurers, and macros galore. Yet, everyone says it was really great. Really? Or is it just some form of nostalgia? Honestly, I've moved on from the days of the wilderness and free trade and have come to enjoy Runescape as it is today just as much. And after all these updates throughout these 3 years to please the pking community and try to make the game reflect how it used to be as much as possible, it seems counterproductive to go back.

Wilderness and free trade vote! - Now Closed
Honestly, I want free trade back, but I quite like not being killed going into the wild for clues. Meh. Idc either way I guess. but I will seriously rage if I start seeing mass yew wc/fishing bots again. EDIT: Wow, massive flashback after looking at my join date. I remember I was SO mad that the wild was removed that I had to finally join and post my rant and suggestions. Oh how the times have changed.

Call of Duty 7: Black OPs
People say that about every DLC. I very highly doubt it's true. Developers usually still have some unfinished maps which didn't make the cut at release, but were still worked on for DLC. That's why they can release a map pack this quickly. Yeah. The Berlin Wall map was one of those scrapped, unfinished maps that they're including in the map pack. Here's an image from it on the wiki: http://callofduty.wi...iki/Berlin_Wall

Call of Duty 7: Black OPs
Didn't see this posted. Black Ops is expecting its first DLC map pack for XBLA on Feb 1st, called "First Strike." It'll be 1200 points  for 4 Multiplayer maps and 1 zombie map.... http://www.gamespot.com/news/6285649.html?tag=latestheadlines%3Btitle%3B1 I'm not sure if I'll get this when it comes out. I haven't been having as much fun with Black Ops and haven't really played zombies at all. So $15 for 4 maps... :/ Probably no.

Godville - ELITES = #1 Guild
God, I forgot about my hero for a couple of weeks, and now I find him in the Godlike Slugs guild.... I lost my advisor status of ELITES. -.- EDIT: Got him to begin his quest to join ELITES again.

Call of Duty 7: Black OPs
I feel the same way. I don't feel accomplished in this game. Having fall camo in MW2 was special (for me at least). It represented my hard work and showed (some) dedication in a gun and (some) skill.. Now, it's just "Oh, I'll spend 250 points on whatever camo." I feel the same way about the "titles" and emblem creator in this game.

Call of Duty 7: Black OPs
Man, Gun Game is so much fun....until I reach the Wa2000. Gah, I hate that sniper so much. Once I reach that tier, I usually go from first to going out of the money. I can rarely get a kill with it, and when, if by some miracle, I do, someone will come up and knife me back down to it. <_< I need to get better with it...

Call of Duty 7: Black OPs
Haha I feel dumb. I didn't realize (or see) that you had to BUY the upgraded pro perk. Thanks! Btw, it is no falling damage and unlimited sprint for Lightweight Pro and Marathon Pro, respectively.
-
Call of Duty 7: Black OPs
It seems like there's a bug on pro perks, or at least for lightweight and marathon. I have both pro perks of those, but I still take damage falling, and I don't have unlimited sprint. It's driving me crazy in CTF.

Call of Duty 7: Black OPs
Got the game today. Is anyone else having trouble getting into Gun Game? It takes me around 5 minutes to find a match with 5 other people, which is ridiculously annoying, especially when it says there are tons of people in the lobby

Call of Duty 7: Black OPs
Ugh. My copy didn't arrive today like it was promised -.- and I'm dying to play the single player. I've been hearing awesome things about it. Next time, I'm never going for release day shipping again. I'll just go to the store instead.

Call of Duty 7: Black OPs
A sniper shoulnt beat me 5 ft away when I have an assault rifle or submachine gun. Its so cheap and should be removed. The fact that I can or cannot do it shouldn't be a factor. I can do it, just not as well at others. But frankly, I don't try to get better at it at all for the same reason I don't use a dumb OMA/DC class.

Call of Duty 7: Black OPs
Not sure if this has been posted or known but just found out splitcreen multiplayer online is included as well as some other details in the link (custom game editor, etc): http://blog.us.plays...player-for-ps3/ Man, this game keeps getting better and better. No quickscoping. Splitcreen Online? Yes! Frankly, playing with only 2 player splitscreen against one person is incredibly boring...

Super Meat Boy
I'm definitely going to pick this up eventually. I've played the flash game to death and loved the fast paced nature of the game. Here's a link to it if you want to try (as Xecer pointed out) http://www.kongregate.com/games/Edmund/meat-boy
