They can't be safespotted as such; but yes metals can be. You need an anti-fire shield and antifire pot to cover the fire breath. Then stand atleast 1 square away from them so you're not in melee range and they'll try and attack with just the long range breath. :) I found blue dragons to be very profitable. I had a task and decided to mage it. I was at the dungeon from the watchtower quest. I did have maxed gear and was on task with 99 magic, but I averaged 5 or 6 casts of fire surge per kill. The task was very fast and the bones and hides are easy to bank and worth over 1m just from 1 task. Non-Metal dragons are actually very resistant to magic, so I wouldn't recommend maging them off task with the sup-par stats and equipment you have access to atm. It was probably my maxed gear/mage level/slayer task but I honestly splashed maybe once every 3 dragons. I was extremely accurate with almost constant 300+.

Congrats on the axe! :) And the 800 is with maxed gear, piety, and a titan. Yaks will slow things down a bit as you have to take a lot of time to manage them and their items. And I barely manage at 800. It's not easy and a few times prime will spawn on me. So don't worry if you can't do amazingly high pop. It takes a lot of practice to get everything down perfect. Just keep at it!
-
I don't have a formula for the spawn rates, but they do spawn pretty fast at high population. If you feel comfortable at the pop don't go higher. If it gets messy it gets really messy. I know that I can solo off-task at around 700 or 800 pop with 85 melees so you might wanna go a little higher. But don't push it too far. EDIT: I don't like SGS there except for it's specials. But that's mainly because it's inaccurate with my melee stats and I do better with a shield because of my relatively low defense.

Alright. No problem, and good luck!

If you have a SGS, which will heal a lot of prayer, you should probably go to a higher pop and piety. It will speed things up tremendously. I have not yet used prayer curses here at DKs so I cannot tell you which prayer set to use. But I found that eagle eye really does make a big difference. And since prime is where you will be taking most of the damage the faster kill the better. That means that you can take more restores/prayer pots in place of brews. And if you piety supreme you should hardly take damage from spinos at all, while killing him.

I think two trips where you have more maxed gear or could piety would be much more efficient than one long one where you try to save supplies. I really don't like tribriding. But that is only my personal opinion. You should bring rune crossbow and dfs over crystal bow. I don't like 2-handed weapons there for the low defense bonuses. (But maybe that's only me at 85 def) Killing prime is the most annoying part. Yes, the +20 range will help, but it may be more efficient to switch out your fury for a god stole. If you do that you will have +10 range and +5 prayer over the crystal bow setup. (If my numbers are correct) EDIT: Also with the stole you could eagle eye, which would probably drain prayer the same as the crystal bow setup but drastically increase the speed of the kill.

For your inventory take about 8 brews (yes, it's a lot, but only for now. Once you get the hang of things you should only bring 2-4) And the rest Super Restores. You should last a very long time with that setup and an experienced duo partner. About the Void mace: I would either use a SOL and a fire wave spell (costly) or use the regular mage arena staff. (The annoying-can't-autocast-way. <_< ) EDIT: Either bring bunyips for after your tort runs out or bring more torts to bank the extra bones at the end of the trip.

I prefer Verac's over Guthan's because I have a Titan to heal me. Guthan's will work well with a tort. Repace the dragon boots with a magic-based boot. i.e. Infinity/Mystic. RoL are good for your first few trips, but a seer's ring would probably be better once you get the hang of it. I personally believe that a BSS is better than a DFS with Verac's, but with Guthan's a DFS is really good and will be a worthy investment one day. A fury is a whole lot better than a glory, but atm they are very high in price and may not be worth the extra cash.

Add me in-game. I thought about it, and when I have time I'd love to teach you.
-
Yes. I'm just saying that once you get a few trips with a teacher you will get the hang of it then can solo. Once you know what you're doing it's very easy. (If I get a dag task sometime soon, I'd love to go and teach you.)

I would never suggest tribriding. Every time I've tried failed. I would suggest starting at maging, you should easily be able to get atleast 40 kills solo. Hybriding is a little bit harder but much more fun. I can get 20-30 kills solo with lower melee stats than you. but your range is a little low to solo hybrid.
-
You could honestly do almost every boss, except arma due to fairly low range, with a small team. I've been to every boss and my melee stats are far worse than yours. Just start easy and work your way up. The more experience boss hunting you have, the more bosses you can try and the more expensive gear you should feel safe bringing.
-
Dk. They are my favorite boss by a lot. You should be able to hybrid no problem with your stats. Maging might be a little difficult with only 80, but still you could do it.

Great guide. I love Runecrafting and would love to help you in any way. If you want me to do anything pm me. I'm 86 RC so I can do everything in f2p. Once again, great guide and I'm here if you need anything! :)

ZMI RC is the fastest. I think at level 50 you will get around 20-25k xp/hr. It's not that boring and I enjoy it.

1. Yes, they all make the same scroll. 2. I don't know the best way to acquire the talismans. Buying them off the GE may work. DK's drop a lot of talismans. Other than that I'm not sure. 3. Moss titan's are the cheapest to make. Both fire and moss titans cost around 3.9k each but fire talismans are 7k compared to 3.8k for a earth talisman. As for the merchanting of the talismans I have no idea. If you need more help tell me.
