So for mith bolts it would give a +40 bonus at 80% of 50. And for plates it would give +200 at 80% of 250. What am I doing wrong with that? It's an extra 30.5xp per item for mithril so +30.5 for mith bolts and +30.5 per mithril plate. Thank you.

But that only counts as the "five bar bonus". meaning you get that 80% split between the five bars used. (Or at least that's what I've gathered so far :wall: ) So you get more per item, not bar, right? I'm confused with the whole thing here. If you do get 37 extra xp with mith plates, do you get 37 extra xp per item you make? Or does each bar give 7.4 extra xp? In other words, would making an item that takes only 1 bar give you 5 times the extra xp to make up for the xp given for making plate bodies since they use 5 bars?

To bad I can't get that xp per hour with magic without barraging. Thank you for enlightening me, Sir. I do like your ideas to help the combat aspect of the mage skill. A bunyip type spell with different levels and faster healing would be nice.
