Not to mention that Wikipedia has servers in the states and unless I'm mistaken their headquarters are there too. I'm also willing to bet that the largest chunk of their user base is in the United States. Fact is, worst case scenario, wikipedia has a lot to lose.

This bill affects the entire internet due to the pure volume of content hosted in the United States. For that reason I have no problems with any non-US blackouts.

I think you're allowed to use chains and studs in some parts of northern ontario. But there's a lot of dirt roads there.

Oh, so I'm obligated to pay ten thousand dollars so that you can get smashed and generally be difficult at my wedding? Yeah...no. Haha welcome to reality :P You can definitely do a nice wedding for cheaper than $30k. Economize by not renting limos, not having an open bar, and don't invite people you don't care about just because they have some kind of distant connection. But I'd say for an average wedding you're dropping $10k minimum. Also, the bride's family will often pay for the wedding or chip in a significant amount.
