I didn't ask for anything from him, i asked for information from someone who knows what is going on, like maybe Peter or Puremage. Transparency has been an issue with this site and many have left due to it. What exactly do you hope to do with this information? How does it possibly benefit you to know exactly which backups were taken? I've repeatedly said we're operating under the assumption that they have access to anything and everything related to this forum going back multiple years. I don't understand why you're so adamant to have specific but ultimately useless information...

The simple fact is that while one of the tech admins may know exactly what backups we had, there's no real way to tell what backups were actually taken by the hackers. That's why, as I've said many times previously, the safest bet is to assume that any and all information you had on these boards over the past few years was compromised.

Like I said - assume everything within the past few years has been taken. I don't know exactly what dates the backups were that they got - so the safe thing to do is assume that they got everything.

God forbid he ever tries to sell media he's created. There you go again, actually respond to the argument please. How about you respond to my argument about intellectual property rights? I spend years programming something, and as soon as I license it to one person, it automagically entitles every punk with an internet connection to my work? No way. When people that "can't afford it" pirate software, "can't buy right now" becomes "won't ever buy." How about this. People respond to incentives (economically speaking here, seeing as we're talking about the demand for a good.) If the same good (or very similar substitute since I guess there are minor differences) is available at multiple prices, people are going to buy (or not in this case) at the lowest price available. That's market forces in action, you can't apply your morality and personal feelings to the market. In the market, people would live this out by buying the cheapest thing, not stealing the more expensive thing.

Barney's version: Well made, well acted. I kind of felt like it lacked direction though, not to mention being pretty depressing. 6/10. 50/50: Much different (and better) than I expected. Seth Rogen didn't ruin it at all (I find he tends to do that with serious movies) and I very much enjoyed it. 7.5/10

I don't think you'll go back to an empty arena at all - likely your attendance will be good for a long time. Just means that the team might not necessarily be good for a few years.
