I wonder why Nox and Eminem's xp gains haven't been removed. Clearly it's a bug but I their names have been up there for a long time now.

What my teams have been doing is having a few mage tanks to lure out all the blue/red bombs and then the rest in non-range gear. Not sure if that is the ideal setup, probably won't be anyway when next week comes around.

It really depends on how often you can get a good placing. At 116 dg, after the update, I get a little over 120k for a huge lamp. It's about fifteen minutes work total to do 2 sinkholes one after the other, so that is about 250k experience in fifteen minutes. So even if you can consistently do 2 floors every fifteen minutes, sinkholes is still efficient to do, given that you can get high placings.

Now let us watch you gain about zero xp in the next year.

There used to be someone who would sort the highscores based on overall xp, and other factors as well. I think she retired a while ago though.

Increasing wand tiers only increases it's accuracy. Since most slayer monsters have zero accuracy the rate of xp hardly increases. Although I would not be suprised if Jagex gave the new magic weapons added bonus damage to make them more desirable to get.
