Adult golems are usually 600 years old or above. Honestly, most familiars will stay miniature and probably never get that big. At least, that's how I would do it.

Getting slightly creepy now.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
The Nyx suits would have kicked the tanks [wagon]. Monomolecular wire and a laser cutter would have just cut it in two.

It's a lump of rock with a mouth. Hey Archi, is that golem classed as a familiar yet, or just a pet?

No they can't :wall: I meant in groups.

Wait, since when did you start researching exoskeletons, Retech/Mather? Also, storing the human mind would take an unbelievable amount of space, far more than anything we're capable of at the moment.

Exoskeletons basically increase the power of infantry, but they cost a ton to produce. Less than a tank, but many times more than a normal infantry set of equipment, meaning they can be fielded in groups and can match a tank in offensive power.

So...you all get uber tanks? Doesn't that kind of cancel the point? After all, if everyone ubers, it ceases to be ubering. AKA, you're throwing a ton of money at a project which will put you all on equal terms in tank quality. Considering the fact that basically everyone has 4th gen tanks now, wouldn't it be better for you if you just created your own tank to be better than those which dont have 4th gen tanks?

Particle tank design is finished, currently being tested for another year. Should be a 4th generation battle tank, weapons cooled using liquid nitrogen combined with a backup water cooling system, features the autotargeting system which means the particle SMG will fire upon infantry while the blaster fires upon vehicles and buildings. I'll also be creating a more beefed up version, which is slower, but has an extra SMG and several pistol-based turrets on it. Exoskeleton improvement continues, yadda yadda.

Any rods from god systems seen in space will be dissassembled and the materials recycled.

Sere, aren't you taking advantage of your position of moderator slightly? I started researching bionic and infantry enhancing mechanics when I started, but I'm still in early stages of testing for a pretty innefficient exoskeleton. Also, I assume the master race thing was a joke...?

Retech, theres a limit as to how much money you can throw at a project vs. how good the results are. You'd need some innovative ideas and concepts on what makes the tank better, because increasing efficiency and such will only get you so far.

Mather, I'm not allowing you to use a nuclear explosion, it's far too technical. In fact, physics don't make sense in this world, so nuclear radiation doesn't exist, and nor do nuclear explosions. Also, the shade would have survived regardless. Only two of the attacks used on it did any damage at all, really.- The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Australia accepts the offer.- The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Awesome. Australia begins development of a tank with two autotargeting particle turrets instead of a single explosive weapon turret. One of the turrets is a blaster, the other is a rifle. Design and testing wont take long, since it's basically a modified version of a real life tank.- Dungeoneering
Technically the shade isn't dead yet, it's still in a sealed portal in the Ivory Tower basement, like the mage told you guys. That said, it became dozens of times more powerful at the end of the fight before the group was pulled out, so fighting it would basically amount to suicide. Still, it's there for later use.- The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Australia offers to trade it's research on advanced autotargeting for particle weaponry, combining the two into an even more powerful weapon and allowing both nations to have it.- The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Did logic just reach breaking point?- The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Australia agrees with Turkey on the subject of everything.- The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Australia begins work on missile interception lasers, to be used with the advanced targeting system research.- Dungeoneering
It basically counts as an extra arm, albeit without a hand to speak of. You could probably attach a spike to it or something I guess, but you can't use it to cast an extra spell. It acts as a grappling hook, could help with climbing or attacking, and is pretty much unbreakable.- The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Hell no. 0/2 against.- Dungeoneering
Yeah, like 5 feet or so.- Request
