Ares cautiously enters the building, and then returns to the door. He then tries to detect any magical energy in case the items were taken.

Ares cautiously enters the building and goes to the door which he detected magical energy behind, and attempts to check if it is still there. Also, in case you missed it: I found my documents with rewards and such. Umbra's shade fragment can be used to upgrade Caladbolg, creating Caladburn, which can use it's energy attack constantly. Jen's chain can be linked to her arm and it will act as an extended arm, or a third arm, if needed. Hakon's feather will allow flight. Igos' gem, if applied to a ring or amulet, will allow far more undead to be under control at any one time.

Oh yeah...well, a zombie hoard is about to attack Ikana, and some people just did some stuff and fought a powerful monster. The rewards will be inert till I can find my documents... Kemios got turned into a birdman...and that's really about it. I'll join in soon, just have to take a shower.

I already had whatsisface "Guy who wants to censor the internet" secretly executed, so no worries. On another note, seeing the results of operation titstorm is pretty funny I guess, if a little disappointing.

Australia wonders what the hell is going on. Australia then realises it doesn't care and rolls with whatever catstrophe is happening currently, because Australia is awesome. And Australia continues researching awesome stuff.

Silly fears
When I walk down stairs, I get a horrible feeling that I'm being followed or watched, so I proceed to run or jump down, or otherwise just get down as fast as possible.

Australia begins reseraching efficient mass driver/electromagnetic thrust technology, in hopes that we can prevent ourselves from killing the planet. ETA is 9-10 years.

My citizens are fine with them after a few years of positive propoganda. Also, what if you never even realised that we were hiding anything.

They aren't super soldiers. They're slightly more active normal soldiers. Also, what if your scientists never got a look at some of the more in depth parts of the research?

Icu, the gene modification wont do that. At most, it slightly increases the efficiency of stuff. I've already said what it does, and since you were working on the same project, you get the same effects. Besides, Russia didn't get the full research anyway. Increased efficiency of the circulatory+respiratory systems, and a slight increase in muscle mass, were the effects I think I stated previously. Also, that is pretty much how genetic modification works, you add the new gene code to a virus and have it inject the new code into the nucleus of a cell. Don't be shocked when somebody hacks into your govornment computers, remotely reprogrammes the police robots, and begins a killing spree, inciting mass rebellion against the government and basically making you lose.

On second thoughts, today is my day off.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Also, Icu, police robots and such are too advanced for the current time. It's only 7 years in the future, and current robots have trouble walking up stairs. I'd say that would requirea good 12-15 years of research.
