Once again, we have the "You need to actually be able to do it in the first place" to use the power stone on it. The power stone just means you do it without fail.

Well....I guess if you used the staff as a hammer... On second thoughts, bad idea.

I can give them paintball guns Sere. Haha. And Retech, the germans weren't a hivemind, were they  In all honesty though, if we're fighting a ground battle, I've basically won. Radioactive landscape (If you can call it a landscape), Arc laser patrols, and a distinct lack of atmosphere means that most troops can't even survive down there, let alone fight.

I don't think life energy works like that... Power stone into a power stone using a power stone? Whaaa? Oh wait, I see what you mean, but power stones can't be used for combat magic, and I don't think they can be used for magic at all.

Hey, I'm practically omniscient <_< And by at the ready I meant ready to defend. My offensive fleet is nothing compared to the defensive placements I have. You guys may have better numbers, but I have a computer which I can use to calculate epic strategies (Which just gives me a large bonus in combat I guess.) and a 600 million machine army which can move in unison! (Not to mention practically invisible soldiers with monomolecular wire and troops the size of a small building but with the comparatively epic reaction speeds for their size)

I think Archi said something about this before. It was shadow is powerful as long as there exists a light source with which to cast a shadow, and light is powerful during the day or something, wheras darkness is powerful at night. So I guess light is the opposite of shadow AND darkness, right?
-
Dungeoneering
You'd need to be way higher level for that. I think Archi said it was 30 for Umbra to turn into a shadow, and there will always be drawbacks. For example, if Umbra changed to a shadow, he'd be weaker versus light, just as you would be weaker versus fire if you turned to ice. Some weaknesses you just can't cover.

Not really...You aren't made of ice, so using ice on a hole in your arm will not repair the flesh. Golems are different, since they are actually made of the substance which you use.

Alrighty, so Dusty is moving a fleet, and Rocco is going with him. I suspect shenanigans, so I'll be using my Hyplex scanner to perform periodic scans of Sega-Res. The 20 Styx platforms in both Eos and Sega-Res are also at the ready, as well as my main fleet.

They can still shoot up the mountain and blow the tower to hell. Jen, using ice to heal an injury caused by ice...Well, even if you remove the ice, you still have a hole in your arm.

Due to a horrific headache and tiredness from nowhere (Seems to be a recurring thing lately), this is tonights last roll. Sorry. Archarnis- +.3 swordsmanship Kemios- You fail to make a pickaxe. Orichalcum is just another rare metal. It's very durable, and serves as a ward against undead. Grim- Everything good was taken when the villagers left. You find no game to shoot. Umbra- You gain .2 swordsmanship xp. Igos- You gain +.3 swordsmanship xp. Ares- You fly to the refugeee camp to help out with preperations to move. +.2 flight.
-

Grim- The army wont be going through a forest... It makes sense, really. No decent general would take that large an army through a forest. Umbra- You resummon the golem. Igos- You enchant the glass sphere, and to your amazement it becomes a fire orb. +.4 pyrokinesis Kemios- You fail to create the grid, and two of the life shards are drained of power. Ares tries to fire an arc of light at the ground from the sky, and succeeds, but almost falls. +.1 Light magic, +.1 flight.
-
Dungeoneering
Umbra- You erect enough tents to house everyone, and carve enough bows to allow everyone who is able-bodied to hunt. Grim- You set the forest ablaze and it quickly grows uncontrollable. It will burn for 30 minutes then a large chunk of the forest will be gone because of an army which wont be here for another hour and a half or something. +.2 fire magic. Kemios- You clear a large area around the town. +.2 earth magic. Igos- The sphere shatters by accident. Ares attempts to summon a target on the ground for him to hit with his scythe, but fails.
-
Dungeoneering
Umbra- You create a few huts. You think tents would be more advisable. Archarnis- There are some drummers on the sidelines. Kemios- You find an orichalcum nugget, +.4 mining. Grim- That'll buy you another 35 minutes. Ares tries to throw his scythe like a boomerang while in the air, and it whirls around him, returning to his hand in a perfect sequence. +.3 farming, +.2 flight. (I'm changing the farming xp I have to "Scythe Skill" by the way, since it'd be a little nonsensical if I gained experience in crop growing by killing things with a scythe.)

Umbra- Kay. Igos- You recover. Archarnis is told to march in formation towards Exile. Due to the large army, it will take a good 2 hours to get there. Hakon- You succeed in creating some crude rock armour, which looks like it will shatter at the first sight of any blunt damage. Ares attempts to launch a light magic bolt from the sky, and succeeds. +.2 flight, +.1 light magic.

Umbra- The Ivory Tower will not be harmed as long as they don't interfere, due to to prior arrangements with the city of Caster. The town begrudglingly obeys and starts gathering important items. Igos- Letting in refugees is fine. Most of them specialise in everyday stuff like cooking and cleaning. Igos fails to create a glass orb and temporarily blinds himself. Archarnis notes around 300 soldiers and 600 hired swords. He also notes a set of cannons and siege equipment, and canister shots. He believes that hand to hand combat would be next to impossible. Archarnis is given a sword and told to train with it, which he does. +.2 swordsmanship. Ares takes off and performs a cartwheel in the air, followed by some loops and swerves. +.3 flight.
-
Dungeoneering
Igos- No settlers have arrived. Most have heard of the impending battle and are staying away from the general area. Archarnis successfully plants the herb, and gains .2 farming. He succeeds in making a weak healing potion and gains .2 potionmaking. The Ikana tower has been completed. The Caster general says that you are allowed to join the army, and Ikana will be left alone, assuming they do not interfere with the matter in Exile in any way whatsoever. All players- A person ran into Exile, screaming about the Caster army, telling of a near 1000 person strong force, well equipped and using cannons, set to arrive in about 3 hours time. There is a large panic in Exile, and a lot of poeple outright leave, 26 people travel to Ikana and ask for refuge there. Ares tries to do a cartwheel in the air, but ends up falling again.

Umbra- The crowd settles down. Ares- Attempts to perform a high speed takeoff from the lowest tower. He succeeds and starts flying around again, gaining +.2 flight. (For your sake, somebody PLEASE send a damn scout.)
-
Dungeoneering
Umbra- Everyone present starts telling you that they are guilty of the burning and starts reminding you of the archer association incident. Ares builds up speed and attempts to do a high speed landing on the top of the lowest tower. He succeeds and gains +.3 flight.
-
Dungeoneering
Umbra- It's all mundane antidotes to poisons and diseases you have never heard of. You still create one and gain +.1 potionmaking. Jen- Regardless. Even at level 15, you'll still be able to die of hypothermia. It'll just take longer, is all. You accidentily impale yourself some more while trying to use ice magic on the wound. You then heal the flesh and nerves around the ice and cause yourself some burning pain. +.1 healing magic. (Since I like to think I'm a decently friendly GM, I'll assume you try to heal yourself before starting on the tower, or it would probably kill you.) Hakon- Stop being so technical, it's a fantasy RPG, so the laws of physics are practically nonexistant (Hey, let's summon us up some fire from nowhere and totally violate energy conservation!). You accidentily encase yourself in rock. Ares attempts to wake up and succeeds. He takes off again.
-
Dungeoneering
Jen- You wake up but you are still bleeding. How does a snowstorm help heal wounds? Even if you are an ice mage...come on. Ares tries to reach high speed by circling the tower and flapping a lot, but instead dive bombs into the ground and fall unconcious again.
-
Dungeoneering
Jen- +.1 xp You fail to strengthen the wings, and accidentily cause ice to impale your shoulderblades. You slowly fall into unconciousness. You don't think you'll be able to make the wings permenant without some reagents and a ritual. Hakon- Your stone armour shatters and you fall on your face comedically. Ares- Attempts to fly again, and succeeds in taking off. +.1 flight.
-
Dungeoneering
Jen- I used a dark charging stone. My familiar also helped, since it can count as a high level ritual reagent. You create some ice wings nonetheless. You think they will break once you enter a warm region.
-
Dungeoneering
Hakon- You regain conciousness, and are upside down with your head and a large part of your torso jammed in the ground. Umbra- +.5 smithing +.3 potionmaking. +.4 intelligence.

You stay asleep.
